Research On The Social Support Of Female Migrant Workers

With the further development of reform and opening up,China's urbanization process is speeding up,and a large number of farmers are entering the city in order to seek more development opportunities.At present,women become an important part of the migrant workers,and the proportion of migrant workers has been increasing year by year.Compared with male migrant workers,female migrant workers face gender discrimination and occupational discrimination.They have encountered some difficulties in life,work,emotion,psychology and other aspects.And the government,women's federations,trade unions,enterprises and other formal social support is difficult to play their role.The practical reasons for this are multifaceted.To improve the current situation of the female peasant workers' social support,it needs the cooperation of the whole society,less the negative impact of personal,family,culture,system for the female migrant workers to provide comprehensive social support,and create a good living and working environment.This paper,based on the "two types" of social support,namely from formal support and informal support.This paper is divided into five parts:The first part,the introduction.It mainly includes the research background of female migrant workers' social support,the theoretical and practical significance of the research,the research status at home and abroad,research ideas and methods,innovation points and shortcomings.The second part,related concepts and theories.The concept of female migrant workers and social support was defined,and the types of social support were classified according to different standards.This chapter also combing the production,main view and main content of social network theory and social capital theory.The third part,analyzing the status quo of female migrant workers' social support.This chapter takes BJFP domestic female migrant workers as an example,investigating and summarizing the status of the female migrant workers.And it is found the problems of the female migrant workers,finally,the reasons for the above problems are analyzed from four aspects: individual,social,cultural and institutional.The fourth part,discussing the practice and role of BJFP in promoting the social support of female migrant workers.This chapter elaborates on the practice of social support promoted by BJFP,including cooperation,professionalism,new platform and all so.And it analyzes the positive role of BJFP in the employment information,promotion of skills,maintenance,raising revenue,and improving the five aspects of life support of the female migrant workers.The fifth part,promoting the social support of female migrant workers.Based on the practical experience of BJFP and combined with the existing research results,this paper proposes specific measures for formal social support and informal social support from four perspectives of government departments,various organizations,social media and female migrant workers.Only when the relevant factors of female migrant workers' social support are developed and improved,can the female migrant workers' survival and development status be improved continuously,so as to better safeguard their legitimate rights and interests,relieve their pressure on life,enhance their physical and mental health and harmony,and integrate them into the urban development and share the fruits of economic development.
