Community Old-age Service In Gulou District Of Nanjing

With the accelerated completion of China's socialist marketization,China's current aging rate has accelerated significantly,and it has fully entered the aging society by 2020.Under such social background,the demand for pension has been increasing continuously,and the contradiction between supply and demand of pension has been emerging.The institutional pension and family support mode under the traditional society has been gradually unable to meet the pension demands of the elderly in urban areas.Under the new situation,community elder security has gradually become the first choice for urban residents to solve retirement issues.To solve the contradiction between supply and demand in the community elder security mode and to understand the current situation and countermeasures of the supply and demand of community elder security have a profound practical significance in studying the path of pension mode and promoting the benign operation of the community elder security mode in China.This paper selected the community where the author lived,Gulou District of Nanjing,as the research object.The main reason choosing the community in Nanjing as the research object is that the population aging level in Nanjing is significantly higher than the national average level.Besides,as a first-tier city circle,its community elder security services started relatively later,and there is a serious imbalance between supply and demand,which is in accordance with the pension situation in most cities of China and provided with the typicality of metropolis.Based on the current situation of population aging in China,this paper points out that the community elder security is a new trend of aging security in our country.Through the necessity and feasibility analysis of implementing community-based elder security services at current stage of China,and taking part of community elderly service centers in Nanjing as examples,we conducted a detailed analysis of the implementation practices and difficulties of successful communities according to social investigation.The main research idea of this paper is to conduct a comparative analysis combined with the conventional practice of pension issues according to the current urban pension mode empirical examples,and at the same time,to make derivative works based on the successful cases of Nanjing community.However,the innovations of this paper are various subjects' behavior and influencing factors in the empirical structural analysis and participation process based on real cases.
