A Study On The Improvement Of Social Work Involvement In Migrant Children's Family Education

As the family trend of the floating population continues to increase,the family upbringing of floating children has attracted attention from all walks of life.Since the Eighteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China,General Secretary Xi Jinping has repeatedly emphasized the importance of family construction,focusing on family,family education and family style.In terms of policy,the central government and relevant ministries and committees expressly require that the way of family upbringing be optimized.Studies in academia,education and social work have shown that negative and ineffective parenting methods can cause psychological and behavioral problems for migrant children.How to improve the family rearing style of migrant children has become a problem that social workers need to pay attention to and consider.The research is based on the positive discipline theory,starting from the dimensions of parenting concept,parenting behavior,and parent-child relationship.Use professional social work methods to provide services and promote migrant children's parents to learn scientific,positive and effective family education concepts and methods.This article takes the service of Guangzhou Y Street Social Work Service Station as an example,and conducts in-depth research on the services carried out by means of investigation and field research.The study found that the problems of migrant children's family upbringing are concentrated in the "extreme" concept of parenting,inappropriate parenting behavior,and parent-child communication and interaction with lack of emotion.Based on this,case services aimed at improving the family upbringing of migrant children;group services aimed at learning positive disciplinary concepts and methods;community services aimed at promoting scientific education knowledge.Although borrowing social work methods can optimize parenting methods to a certain extent,there are still difficulties in terms of service group level and service effect.Therefore,combined with social work service experience and service effectiveness,specific and comprehensive recommendations are made from five aspects: First,provide family-style services and promote parent-child participation.The second is to build a three-dimensional platform to provide diverse services.The third is to strengthen home-school-society cooperation and tap service needs.The fourth is to focus on all-roundimprovement and improve service capabilities.Fifth,pay attention to policy guidance and cultivate good family style.
