China and the United States are bilateral relations where competition and cooperation coexist.Since the outbreak of the financial crisis in 2008,especially after China replaced Japan in 2010 as the world's second-largest economy, competition factors in Sino-U.S.relations have begun to appear. Some scholars call this phenomenon of intensified competition as the "new era of strategic competition" between China and the United States. After the Trump administration took office, the fragmented China policy began to change, and began to highlight the Sino-US competitive relationship from the perspective of national strategy.Obviously,U.S.government officials and scholars are changing their perceptions of China. It is the consensus that The United States strategic circle regard china as America's competitor and competition will become the norm in Sino-U.S.relations.The competition between China and the United States is no longer a problem that can be ignored.Examining the overall development trend of Sino-US competition and the specific development between China and the United States in the economic, military, institutional, and network fields,we can find that The competition between China and the United States is gradually strengthening. That is,the trend of deepening competition and cooperation.By analyzing the history of international relations and Sino-US exchanges,we can see that the rapid development of China is the fundamental reason for the strengthening of Sino-U.S.competition;the loosening of the strategic cooperation base between the two countries is the precipitating factor;the failure of the US's anticipation of China's liberalization become The deep psychological dynamics of America to strengthen competition to China.and the increase in China's strategic initiative directly contribute to the US's competitive response.Although the competition between China and the United States continues to intensify, from the perspective of the entire Sino-U.S.relationship,competition is still controllable. The interdependence of Sino-U.S.economic relations is the fundamental reason why competition will not develop into a conflict. The dialogue mechanism established by the two countries in various fields provides an institutional channel for resolving frictions and conflicts between China and the United States. The cultural exchanges between China and the United States laid the basis for the healthy development of the relations between the two countries.China's active development of relations with the United States has created a good environment for the healthy development of bilateralrelations. The competition between China and the United States is still controllable, but with the highlight of competition,it is inevitable that there will be a possibility of breaking the balance between competition and cooperation to conflict. Therefore,China and the United States should actively take the initiative to control and guide the development of Sino-U.S.relations until the two countries accumulate sufficient diplomatic tools and skills to ease the structural contradictions and a new order which benefit China and the United States but also benefit the world peace.
