In recent years, family migration has become a new phenomenon. Many studies have shown that family migration is gradually becoming the main pattern of population floating in China. In term of status of family migration,if achieving the reunion of family members is the ultimate goal, then what factors will affect the family migration patterns? From the perspective of family endowment,is it because some households have more abundant resources and capabilities,so that these families have the ability to carry out family migration? Moreover, according to the new economic theory of migration, sending someone elsewhere and other part of the family members staying in the home can transfer family risk.So all family members migrating out at the same time is a riskier way of migration. What factors will affect the way of family migration? Is it because some households have more abundant resources and capabilities,so that these households have the ability to migrate out at the same time? This article focuses on the status and methods of family migration. In terms of the core independent variables, this article focuses on the family human capital in the family endowment. In this paper, the family human capital is measured by four indicators: the average educational level of couple, the average age of couple, the difference in couple education, and the age difference of couple. The first two are the quantitative characteristics of family human capital and represent the overall level of human capital in this family. The latter two are the structural characteristics of family human capital and reflect the differences in the level of human capital among different members of the family.Logistic model is used in this article and the data is from the dynamic monitoring data of floating population in 2014.The following conclusions are drawn: the more abundant human capital for education in the family, that is,the higher the average level of education for couple, the easier it is for family members to all migrate out at the time of the survey. The average age of the couple has no significant effect on the family migration. The higher the average of education for couple, the more difficult it is for family members to migrate out at the same time. The greater the difference in the number of years of education between husband and wife, the more difficult it is for family members to migrate out at the same time. The higher the average age of the couple, the easier it is for family members to migrate out at the same time. The difference in the age of the couple does not have a significant effect on the way of family migration.
