Study On Cheng-Yu Economic Area Synergy Development And Local Government Economic Function Transformation

From international background,economy globalization is accompanying economy regionalization.To some extent,the regionalization is collective response to outer pressure and competition,one kind of brought about country by external factors,some near countries unite together,make full use of their advantages,to clear risk and seek benefit in most extent.From the interior of a country,regionalization is the natural result of economy development,the inner country,because some administrative unites are contiguous each other,economical penetration,close relationship,culture in common,economy is closely connected increasingly,so form economic area.But regionalization not amount to defang “sovereignty” of countries or administrative unites,on the contrary,successful area regionalization must be asked to keep powerful “sovereignty” among each other and balance benefit of each subject of benefit.Cheng-Yu economic area is the place that economy is most concentrate in western area in China,it is located at upper Yangtze River.City,dense populated area,industry,agriculture,economic activity,which are all distributed along rivers,this thing is same as the economic laws of some countries in the world.This natural situation is beyond compare in western area,and the historical origins is very deep between Chongqing and Sichuan,so there have blessed conditions to construct Cheng-Yu economic area.But things are not in an ideal of Cheng-Yu economic area synergy development.Since Chongqing and Sichuan pursue their own benefit excessively,bring about irrational competition far outweighing cooperation.Low-level redundant development existing in great numbers,trade barrier and administrative barrier could not be eliminated in the short run,market integration is remote.Against this background,integrating theoretical analysis with empirical work,the dissertation studies how to promote synergy development of Cheng-Yu economic area basing on the angle of local government economic function transformation.The dissertation breaks down into seven major parts.The first part is introduction,including background of research,why researching such question,study meaning,difficult and stress,dissertation framework.The second part is the definition of some important concept and literature panorama.The third part is the brief of Cheng-Yu economic area,including geographical range,economic developments,superiority and inferiority,synergy development path present state.The forth part is empirical work of influent factor of Cheng-Yu economic area synergy development,and finds major influent factors.The fifth part is order of priority of solution by using analytic hierarchy process.The sixth part is promoting synergy development of Cheng-Yu economic area basing on the angle of local government economic function transformation.Putting forward the suggestion according to result of the forth part and the fifth part.The last part is conclusions and latter research proposals.
