Household registration system is an important system,the household registration system has a long history,already existed in ancient times,but the household register system of our country contemporary produced in the planned economy period,1958,China promulgated the "the people's Republic of C hina Household Registration Ordinance",in the specific historical period,C hina strictly limited rural free population flowing into the city,gradually formed a Chinese characteristics of dual household registration management mode,is the social public service,social welfare and the household registration system is linked together.After the reform and opening up,our country entered the period of rapid development of social economy,especially after 2000,nationwide population flow and living is not too big,but change of residence was extremely difficult,so with the household registration system linked to the social public service and social welfare,urban residents and rural residents is still binary structure,the gap is still huge.So the reform of the household registration system is imperative.Taking Heyuan as an example,this paper makes a comprehensive analysis on the reform and construction of the household registration system in Heyuan city.The first part of this article is to comb the co ncept of C hina's household registration system,and summed up the history of the development of C hina's household registration system,content and function.Secondly taking Heyuan C ity as an example,of Heyuan C ity,the household registration system reform encountered difficulties and resistance were comprehensive analysis,on this basis,and summed up the changes of Heyuan C ity,since the establishment of the household registration system reform and the achieved results.Secondly,it expounds the influence of the reform of the household registration system on the urban and rural residents' life.Finally,on the basis of the previous chapters,this paper puts forward the Countermeasures for the construction of the household registration system reform.In this paper through the literature research,case study and empirical,a full analysis of the Heyuan household registration reform in the face of problems,and the reform of the household registration system of residents in Heyuan C ity effect,and finally puts forward the Countermeasures for the construction,I hope through this study,Heyuan C ity household registration system reform provides beneficial exploration,and to provide a theoretical basis.
