The People's Daily's Report On Soviet Socialist Construction Experience From 1949-1956

The Soviet model,as the first socialist model in human history,changed socialism from theory to great practice,greatly inspiring the confidence of the world's proletariat and working people,including China,to struggle for the cause of communism.In the early days of the founding of the People's Republic of China,China implemented a "one-sided" diplomatic policy and studied the Soviet Union in all directions.This article starts from the perspective of the People's Daily newspaper's experience report on the socialist construction of the Soviet Union from 1949 to 1956.Through analyzing the historical background and important reasons for China's experience in studying socialist construction in the Soviet Union,it grasps the main content and discourse system characteristics of its reporting and learning.The purpose of studying the profound influence of the Soviet model on the exploration of China's socialist construction road is to sum up the lessons learned from history,and to inspire the present,to remember the beginning of the heart and to move forward.The paper is divided into five parts:The first part of the introduction mainly discusses the reasons for selecting the topic,the significance of research,literature review at home and abroad,research methods and innovations.The purpose is to illustrate that by studying the People's Daily report on the experience of socialist construction in the Soviet Union at this stage,we have further enriched the research results of scientific socialism,deepened our understanding of socialist theory and practice with Chinese characteristics,and strengthened theoretical self-confidence and road confidence.The second part analyzes the historical background of the “People's Daily” report on the four aspects of Soviet socialist construction experience: the history of cooperation between the two parties before 1949 and the need to continue the logical development of cooperation after1949,and consolidate the democratic regime of the new born.Needs,the need to successfully complete the socialist transformation and the need for theoretical reserve for the comprehensive advancement of socialist construction;discussed the internal causes of two aspects: the Chinese Communist Party's lack of experience in socialist construction and the “one-sided” foreign policy influence.External factors: Soviet support and guidance to China.The third part selects three aspects of economics,politics,and science and technology culture.Through the use of research methods in the history of concepts,the frequency of preliminary statistical reports is used to elaborate the main contents of the People's Daily report and to consider the specific reasons for its reporting so as to facilitate Objectively and comprehensively understand how China learned the Soviet Union to carry out the socialist revolution and socialist construction in the early days of the founding of the People's Republic ofChina.These three aspects can essentially highlight the core content and basic characteristics of the Soviet model.In the fourth part,we studied the discourse system of the Soviet Union's socialist construction experience reported by the People's Daily from four aspects.We believe that the reporting forms are diverse and focused;the reporting topics cover all aspects of construction experience;the reporting tone emphasizes the party and the state.Benefits are supreme;coverage of reports is immediate and far-reaching.One of the greatest influences is that China has inherited the medium-and long-term plans for the development of the national economy and has creatively changed the “plan” for the development of the national economy to “planning” on the basis of studying the planned economic system of the Soviet Union.In the fifth part,to evaluate the merits of the Soviet model's impact on China,it is closely related to evaluating the merits of the Soviet Union's socialist construction experience reported by the People's Daily between 1949 and 1956.On the one hand,the “People's Daily” report has greatly strengthened Sino-Soviet friendly relations and promoted China's relatively smooth restoration and development of the national economy.China successfully established a socialist system and began to enter the initial stage of comprehensive socialist construction;On the other hand,it led to the theoretical dogmatism of the Communist Party of China.In practice,it has not been comprehensive and profound in its national conditions.The problem of socialist transformation has emerged too quickly,excessively and excessively.
