The Study Of Elderly Participation In Heath Education In Urban Community

With the quickening of population aging and the extending of average ages,the number of chronic disease patients has increased.So,health needs of aged start to attract people from governments,society and families,especially elderly people themselves.The study focuses on the participation of elderly people in the health education policy.The paper researched elderly people’s cognition and trust of health education and the real condition of Neighborhood W,City T whose health education policy has developed greatly,which was known through surveys and interviews,after introducing our history of the health education policy.On the basic of it,we analyzed the obstacles of contents and forms in the process of participation of elderly people.The results show that elderly people also need to increase their passion.At the end,the author advised we should make use of modern methods to enrich the content and increase the passion of elderly people to provide the aged better health knowledge,attract them to participate in and give them healthy and happy later life.
