A Study On The Endowment Intention For The First Generation Of One-Child Parents In Town

In 1980 s,the one-child policy was implemented as the core of the family planning policy,aiming at slowing down the population growth and alleviating social pressure.As China is stepping into the aging society,facing the growing elderly population,it has become a top priority of how to solve the problem of the elder.The survey is based on endowment intention of the first generation of one-child parents in town,towns selected as the place of investigation,owing to the disequilibrium of the distribution of endowment resources,still have great disadvantages compared with large cities in both hardware and software facilities and the development level of the pension industry,at the same time,the number of urban population in China still occupy a large proportion,the correlation data display that the urban resident population rate in China is 58.52%.With the aging population is increasingly serious today,more attention should be given to the problem of pension in towns.The survey is set to the first generation of one-child parents because they are the earliest groups to implement the one-child policy,now have gradually stepped into the aging population,the demand for the aged is more urgent,so as the research object,the first generation of one-child parents in town are more representative.This article is based on the first generation of one-child parents in Y town,aiming at knowing about the endowment intention by the way of investigation in the community.For the purpose,I go to the endowment institution in Y town for field investigation for understanding the development of the local endowment pattern,with the intensive study of the data obtained on the conclusion of the questionnaire,finally I analyse the influencing factors of the first generation of one-child parents endowment intention of Y town,and put forward suggestions on the development of the town of the endowment pattern forming the basis of this paper.Through the investigation and research,the conclusions are: firstly,the family pension model is still the first choice for the first generation of one-child parents;secondly,the choice of institutional endowment pattern is mostly "rigid demand";thirdly,the limited cognition of the home-based care mode affects the choice of the residents to the home-based care mode;fourth,the desire for the aged is mainly influenced by traditional ideas,housing and children's sex factors,which is not related to the status of individual income and the degree of education.For developing of the endowment pattern in Y town,on the one hand,we should strengthen the support for the mode of home-based care and the mode of institutional endowment mode;on the other hand,we should also strengthen the publicity of the endowment pattern,reversing the concept of the old and advocating self-care for the aged.So,insisting on the diversified development of the endowment pattern can play a great role in improving the endowment problem in Y town.
