The Value Orientation And Path Analysis Of Urban Public Space Governance In Contemporary China

Strengthening the public space governance is a significant measure to advance the modernization of urban governance system and governance capacity.Since the 19 th CPC National Congress,China has accelerated the scientific,legislative,systematic and democratic process of public space governance system based on the requirements of improving public space governance capability.There is a realistic and inner connection between the urban public space governance and Marxist thought of publicity.Urban public space governance should follow the Marxist thought of publicity to search forsound governance strategies and get out of the governance predicament by which Chinacan truly realize the benign development of urban public space.First,this paper expounds the Marxist public thought and the related theories of urban public space governance,and sums up the theoretical origin and ideological connotation of Marxist public thought by using the literature analysis method.The basic meaning,type and characteristics of urban public space governance are defined.Secondly,by analyzingthe present situation of the development of urban public space in China,and the common problems existing in urban public space are found out by using the methods of qualitative analysis,quantitative analysis and case method.This paper further probes into the governance dilemmas such as the one-sided orientation of government governance,the falsehood of social organizations,the weakness of the psychology of the people's subject,and so on.Lastly,this thesis puts forward some practical values and path analysis of urban public space governance.It also discusses the value orientation of urban public space governance by analyzing the public relations between man and man,man and society and all mankind.Meanwhile,it seeks for some effective ways of governing urban public space from the perspectives such as the improvement of social subject's governance consciousness and participation,the perfection of the urban public governance's security system and the optimization of urban public space's governance paths.
