After decades of political stalemate in the Arab world, unexpectedly, more than one Arab country erupted in popular revolutions that toppled existing regimes, shook many other regimes and forced them to change their policies and create a new political and social reality in the Arab world.Which have not been the goal of peoples in the past years if not transferred to dream and change the ruling regimes. In late 2010 and the beginning of 2011,a wave of revolutions and protests broke out in different parts of the Arab world. The Tunisian revolution began, sparking in many Arab countries. The period of Arab revolutions was characterized by different terms such as the Arab Spring or the popular Arab movement. One of the reasons for these sudden protests is the spread of corruption, economic stagnation and poor living conditions,as well as large restrictions on politicians and the media, the absence of individual freedoms and generally poor conditions in Arab countries.Regarding the crisis of Libya, the revolution began with peaceful popular uprisings that did not last long until it became a direct conflict between the rebels and the regime, the division of the conflicting factions and the intervention of foreign countries according to their interests in financing and supporting factions or the regime.International diplomacy or UN efforts did not stop or mitigate conflicts,It has increased the pace of the conflict because of the conflicting international views on the crisis,as well as the decision of the United Nations and the Security Council to intervene militarily to resolve the Libyan crisis. The war is still difficult to get out or end or at least a peaceful solution to appease the parties. This thesis explains the non-traditional security impact of the Libyan crisis on Algeria. All aspects of the Algerian people and the Algerian state were also affected by the Libyan crisis whether directly or indirectly. In addition, this thesis will explain the concept of traditional security effects and non-traditional security effects and determine whether there are non-traditional effects on Algerian security due to the Libyan crisis.will also seek to answer the question: What is the non-traditional security impact of the Libyan crisis on Algeria? If the answer is that there are security implications, what are the important ways that affect Algeria and the aspects that are affected by this crisis, this study will explain how Algeria dealt with the Libyan crisis and the methods followed and measures are taken to address the non-traditional security risks and how Algeria reacted internally to the procedures Developed by the Algerian state specifically to address what could happen on the Libyan border, and externally through Algerian foreign policy,Where Algerian diplomacy is active in the neighbouring region according to the standards of diplomatic work on the two principles instead of diplomatic statements. This is what has been noted in the Algerian diplomacy regarding the Libyan crisis and its great efforts to find a diplomatic solution. Many meetings have been active since the outbreak of the war in Libya since 2011 To this time, they continue to try to minimize the serious security consequences of this crisis,And this reflects its movements in situations of stability and instability with neighbouring countries or with other countries of the world,Algeria continues to emphasize political and diplomatic solutions to resolve the crisis in Libya through peaceful dialogue between the parties. An attempt to achieve the objectives of the study and to reach results, the researcher recognizes that there is a lot of research that discussed the security effects of the Libyan crisis on Algeria and the region as a whole, but the research that discussed the effects of non-traditional security is almost non-existent because the previous studies general effects on Algeria and the effects on each North Africa and the Sahel. The researcher will also try to answer the question of what are the nontraditional security effects of the Libyan crisis on Algeria, what are these effects, and to what extent Algeria has been affected and what reactions the Algerian state has taken in the measures to address these serious effects of the Libyan crisis. This thesis contains five chapters.Chapter 1 presents the background of the Libyan crisis as well as the significance of research and research question and Argument, and research scope present a concept of the term non-traditional security impact and focused on,next I explained the previous studies that have almost the similar topics, finally the methodology of research I will use some descriptive analytical tools in this study to identify and crystallization of the Libyan crisis over time.Chapter 2 introduces the background of the Libya crisis in 2011.The first section will discuss the popular Libyan uprising against the Gaddafi regime and provide you with a better understanding of the concept of the Libyan uprising in 2011.Moreover,what are the most important events of the Intifada or the chronology of the popular uprising?
