Along with the rapid development of society and the deepening of economic globalization,in the past few decades,China's administrative system reform has continued to advance,and it has already undergone earth-shaking changes compared with earlier years.However,the traditional style of leadership has been unable to meet the needs of today's society.Therefore,how to improve the leadership style and improve their management ability,and thus better handle the increasingly complex social contradictions,has become an important issue in the field of public management research.At the same time,the job satisfaction of public servants in China has always been highly valued by the academic community.Because the first-line civil servant is a direct bridge between the government and the people,its identity has two sides,which makes the job satisfaction of public servants directly affect their own work attitude and work efficiency.Therefore,how to improve the job satisfaction of public servants is also an important prerequisite for ensuring the sound and rapid development of society.This paper takes the new leadership style of "paradoxical leadership" as the core,and explores the relationship between the public opinion leadership behavior of government department managers and their subordinate job satisfaction.Through combing and summarizing relevant literature such as public opinion leadership,public service motivation,leadership trust and job satisfaction,and based on the relationship between variables,a hypothesis model is proposed.Based on the existing literature,the questionnaires were designed in a targeted manner,and data was widely collected among civil servants in many provinces and cities in China.Descriptive statistical analysis,confirmatory factor analysis and regression analysis were performed on 279 questionnaires that were validated by empirical research.The results of the data test show that the public opinion leadership behavior in our government is significantly positively correlated with the subordinate job satisfaction;the public service motivation plays a partial intermediary role between public opinion leadership and job satisfaction;the trust degree to the leader is There is a mutual adjustment between public service motivation and job satisfaction.Starting from the field of public management,this paper expands the public opinion leadership model in the field of enterprise management to the field of public management research,and deeply discusses the public opinion leadership behavior of government departments in China.To a certain extent,it has broadened the scope of application of theoretical research.At the same time,variables such as public service motivation,trust and leadership satisfaction are introduced,and a new management model is proposed.Providing new management ideas for government department leaders in dealing with complex contradictions,and being able to establish a manager's overall overall view through public opinion leadership behavior,and enhance their own dialectical contingency,leadership ability and fear,and make managers Ensure the job satisfaction of its subordinates while balancing the effectiveness of the work.In addition,in the process of verifying the hypothesis model,this study also proves that the national civil servants not only need to have superb management and coordination ability,but also put forward higher requirements for their moral quality,in order to truly serve the people wholeheartedly.
