A Study On The Ability Of Poor Handicaped Persons In Rural Areas To Eliminate Poverty

General Secretary Xi Jinping has pointed out that the disabled are a group with special difficulties.We must pay enough attention to them.We should make the disabled groups,especially the poor disabled groups in rural areas,the focus of poverty alleviation work.Anhui Province is a major province in poverty alleviation,and undertakes an important task in poverty alleviation.There is an urgent need to have a suitable way for the poor people in our province to get rid of poverty to solve the regional poverty problem.By the end of 2018,the most difficult remaining poor people to escape poverty is the rural poor disabled.Therefore,it is necessary to study the ability of poverty alleviation for the rural poor disabled.Social work specialty is a specialty based on helping vulnerable groups,using the value concept of "helping others to help themselves",helping the weak to enhance their ability to achieve self-help.In the work of helping the poor disabled get rid of poverty,there is professional coupling.The professional theory of social work can help the poor disabled enhance their own ability and realize self-empowerment.Taking Y village,A county,X city,Anhui Province as an example,this paper collects and collates the data of poverty alleviation ability of poor disabled people by consulting relevant literature,field visits,case interviews and so on,and defines the concept of poverty alleviation ability and poverty alleviation ability of poor disabled people in rural areas.Six conditions are put forward to determine the ability of poverty alleviation:one's own labor ability,working skills,cultural and educational level,the ability of family and social support network,the ability of rehabilitation,and the ability of social security.The full text is divided into four chapters:The first chapter is the introduction,which elaborates the background and significance,current research situation,concept definition,research ideas and research methods of the poverty-free disabled in rural areas.Chapter two is the survey of poverty alleviation ability of impoverished disabled people in Y village.It summarizes the basic situation of disabled people in Z town and Y village.Detailed data are obtained through field visits and case interviews.According to the six conditions of poverty alleviation ability of impoverished disabled people determined in this paper,the ability of poverty alleviation of impoverished disabled people in Y village is measured,and the conclusion that poverty alleviation ability of impoverished disabled people in Y Village In the third chapter,we use the theory of social work for the disabled,the theory of "social disability" and the professional theory of social support system to analyze.We find that the lack of resources,cultural education,social support network,low acceptance,inadequate precision rehabilitation and other reasons lead to the poor disabled in Y village lack of ability to lift themselves out of poverty.Chapter IV proposes ways to improve the ability of rural poor disabled people to escape poverty from the perspective of social work.We need to encourage multiple subjects to participate in poverty alleviation,strengthen cultural education,mobilize the enthusiasm of the support team,train professional rural social workers,multi-sectoral linkage,and enhance the ability of poor disabled people to escape poverty.
