"post-80s" is a special synonym in China mainly refers to the group born after the year of 1980 who have witnessed the development history for more than 30 years of opening and reform in China and will play a critical role in China's future development.With the continuous deepening and progressing of China's intensified reform,based on the change of population situation in the process of comprehensively constructing a moderately prosperous society,China has carried out two children policy throughout the whole country encouraging couples to have two children.This is a gratifying news for a lot of Chinese people especially for the group of post-80s who are in the age of fertility.However,the number,sex preference and the age for child bearing are influenced by many factors such as the family economic status,native place,family member composition,and individual and family education level,etc.In particular,the fertility intention and desired child number of "post-80s" peasant-workers will show different characteristics with the last generation.Taking Yanhua New District of Huai' an City as an example,through numerous questionnaire surveys and data analysis,this article has analyzed the new generation of "post-80s" migrant workers' fertility intention.As a whole,educational background and economic status are two major factors influencing their fertility intention.Meanwhile,pressure from family elderly supporting,etc.are also impacting their fertility intention to some extent.
