As of 2018,there are 250 million elderly people over the age of 60 in China,accounting for 17.9% of the total population of China.The number of elderly people over 65 years old accounts for 11.9% of the total population of China.An elderly person in China needs about 3.5 laborers to support her,and China's pension pressure ranks fifth in the world.Especially in rural areas of China,the problem of old-age care for the elderly is facing severe challenges.For example,the function of family pensions,which has always been dominant in China,is gradually weakening;the daily care required by rural elderly is not met;the relevant systems and policies for the elderly in rural areas are still incomplete;left-behind elderly and empty-nest elderly The number of elderly people with various special problems and needs,such as elderly people living alone and disabled elderly people,is increasing.Such a background gives opportunities and space for rural mutual assistance and pension development.In May 2018,the author entered the S village of H County,Jiangxi Province,relying on the three-zone plan project.Taking the elderly in the S village as the research object,from the perspective of peer support network,the author focused on building the S village elderly mutual support system.Develop and conduct professional case,group and community activities.Collect first-hand information about the development of mutual support for the elderly in rural areas,use interview evaluation methods to analyze the problems of social work services in rural mutual support and pension,and explore the role and tasks of social workers in rural mutual support and pension.This paper first analyzes the current status of the elderly in S villages on the two levels of material and spiritual.Then it is to explore the shortcomings of various current pension models,and to draw the necessity of developing mutual support for the elderly in rural areas.After that,combined with the old-age concept,cultural traditions and existing resources in the village of S village,the feasibility of social workers' rural mutual assistance and old-age care practice in S village was evaluated.The theme of this paper is to explore the social work intervention of ruralleft-behind elderly people to help each other based on the perspective of peer support network construction.Through the analysis of rural mutual support and pension from the perspective of peer group,we focus on the construction of mutual support network for the elderly in the community,increase the social circle of the elderly,help them effectively alleviate loneliness,and create a good old-age environment..In addition,we should also consider the role of social workers in intervening in rural mutual support and pension,summarizing and exploring the effective social intervention strategies for rural mutual assistance and old-age care.However,in order to form a support network for the peers in the village,it is necessary to emphasize and exert the main status and inner potential of the elderly themselves,and integrate the effective resources in the family and the community,with the cooperation of individuals,families and communities.In order to promote the development of mutual support for the elderly in S Village.
