Research On Community Governance In Urban Fringe Community Based On Social Capital Theory

The community at the junction of urban and rural areas,bearing the dual elements of urban and rural areas,is a new type of community with the particularity of The Times inevitably formed by the gradual outward development and expansion of the city,including communities of rural areas have been transformed into non-community areas,new mining communities and public rental housing communities.In today's rapid urbanization process,the urban fringe community expresses the diverse interests of different groups,facing the important task which reconstruct special type community governance.In theory,social capital and community governance in the sociological sense are inherent,so this paper selects three types of communities in the urban-rural fringe of chongqing,empirical research was carried out on their social capital from different dimensions such as community social trust,social norms,community participation network,community identity and sense of belonging.Then,from the perspective of social capital theory,it objectively analyzes the endogenous dilemma and its causes of community governance in the urban-rural fringe.Therefore,this paper discusses the approach of community governance in the urban-rural fringe in line with the reality of China.And on a practical level,give the strategy and policy Suggestions of boosting community governance in the urban-rural fringe.Which include reshape community norms,foster social trust,and build a multiple governance network.This paper is divided into seven chapters,the main content is as follows:The first chapter is the introduction.Including research origin,research significance,research status at home and abroad,research content,research method innovation,etc.The second chapter defines theories and related concepts.Which includes governance theory,social capital theory,collective action dilemma theory,and defines the basic concepts involved in this paper.The third chapter analyzes the current situation of community governance in the urban-rural fringe.It mainly analyzes the basic situation,demographic structure and community governance of three sample communities.The conclusion is that due to different types of communities,the satisfaction of community residents in the urban and rural areas is different.Public rental housing communities have low satisfaction with public services and community activities.Industrial and mining communities have low satisfaction with infrastructure,community activities and community environment.The fourth chapter analyzes social capital status of community of the urban-rural fringe.This paper mainly analyzes the social capital from different dimensions such as community trust,community communication,community participation and community belonging in three sample communities.As can be seen from the questionnaire survey,community residents in the rural-urban fringe pay more attention to social capital factors such as good neighborhood relationship,mutual familiarity,mutual trust,mutual support,common interest pursuit and convention,more self-organization in the community,and better community activities when choosing communities.Different types of communities in urban and rural areas also have differences in social capital.The sense of community belonging in industrial and mining communities is low,the participation rate of volunteer activities in rural communities is low,and the community trust,community communication,community participation and sense of community belonging in public rental housing communities are low.The fifth chapter is the empirical analysis of the correlation between social capital and community satisfaction in the urban-rural fringe.This paper quantitatively studies the influencing factors of social capital and its relationship with the performance of community governance,and explores the dilemma of this type of community governance.Through quantitative analysis,the relationship between urban and rural integration of community social capital and community performance,community trust in three,two community interaction,community participation in four,community belonging four by hypothesis test,through regression analysis,the demographic variables of gender and living time two variables into the equation,that women are more likely than men to a higher degree of satisfaction,residence time and community satisfaction are related,people live longer,to the community's satisfaction is higher;In community trust,the three variables of neighborhood committee trust,residents' trust and the frequency of helping neighbors are included in the equation.In community communication,the frequency of communication with neighbors was included in the equation.The higher the frequency of communication with neighbors,the higher the satisfaction with the community.In the community participation,the volunteers were included in the equation,indicating that the community satisfaction of residents who participated in the volunteers was also higher.In the sense of community belonging,the degree of love for the community is included into the equation,that is,the higher the degree of love for the community,the higher the degree of satisfaction with the community.The sixth chapter discusses the community governance dilemma and its causes.According to the questionnaire survey and case analysis conclusion,the objective analysis on the new type of urbanization under the background of urban-rural fringe community population flow speed,the disintegration of the traditional village,social community into a community lack the sense of belonging and identity,lack of social trust,absence of community norms,community participation in network governance dilemma,such as and explore the deep reason for the integration of urban and rural areas social capital issues.Urban-rural fringe community mainly exist many social contradictions,backward development of social undertakings,the public service supply,public security prevention and control is difficult,low residents participate in governance,mainly to come from one family separation increased with the increase in the number of the floating population,the existing system and mechanism can not fit the new situation of social governance requirements,dominated tradition of community autonomous organizations at the grass-roots level function weakened,residents'committees color,low social capital,strong social governance body problem such as single,public participation way not free.The seventh chapter is the conclusion and suggestion.Make a summary to urban and rural integration of community governance related problems,and on this basis discusses way to accord with the actual needs of the community governance innovation,put forward to perfect relevant policies and regulations,to foster community trust,rebuilding community specification,repair community relations network,improve the residents of community participation in such aspects as operable countermeasures and Suggestions.
