Study On The Willingness To Institutional Pension For The Elderly In Urban Areas And Its Influencing Factors

This paper mainly studies the influencing factors of the willingness of urban elderly institutions.Through the investigation of Shenbei New District in Shenyang City,the specific factors that may affect the elderly’s willingness to institutional pension are analyzed.Through the data obtained from the questionnaires we analyzed the status quo of the institutional pension in Shenbei New District,and the specific factors affecting the elderly institutions were analyzed through interactive analysis and Logistics regression model,at the same time we proposed the corresponding countermeasures.The article include five parts,the specific content is as follows:The first part is the introduction.First this paper introduces the background and current situation of the institutional pension,points out that China’s family structure and the aging of the country have brought a serious burden to the country,society and the family.What’s more it introduces the study of institutional pension from all over the world,analyzes the status quo of the institutional factors and pensional supply and demand,and foreign pension mold along with conclusions and influencing factors.Finally,this paper introduce the contents and specific research methods including the innovations and shortcomings.The second part mainly introduces the basic concepts and theoretical basis.The basic concepts include the elderly population,institutional pension and willingness to institutional pension.The theoretical basis of the family life cycle theory,the demand hierarchy theory,the welfare pluralism theory and so on.The third part analyzes the status quo of institutional pension,including the questionnaire design and the overall status of institutional pension,this paper also points out the status of old-age people’s willingnesss to the institutional pension in different age groups,different self-care ability and different economic characteristics.The fourth part is one of the core chapters of this paper.From the family level,social level and economic level,it uses the method of interactive analysis to point out the factors affecting the elderly’s willingness to institutional pension.The personal level includes the level of education of the individual,pre-retirement occupation,gender,etc.The family level includes the number of children,the child’s financial support for the parents,whether to live alone,etc.The social level includes participation in medical care and pension insurance.Refers to the income level of the elderly and the impact of income sources on the elderly’s willingness to pension institutional.The results of the interaction analysis suggest that the elderly’s willingness to pension institutional is indeed restricted by individuals,families,and social and economic factors.Therefore,this paper further uses the logistic regression model to verify that the elderly’s willingness to pension institutional is indeed subject to the above four factors.Last but not the least,this paper focuses on the problems found in the questionnaire,combined with the current situation of the urban elderly pension institutional in China,proposes to improve the old-age welfare security system to improve the affordability of the elderly,improve the level of institutional pension services based on diversified needs,toghther with the long-term care insurance system for sustainable development and the improvement of community public pension services to compensate for the lack of family care.
