A Study On Functional Optimization Of The Local Government In Tourism Development

This paper takes the government functions in the tourism development of Longchuan County in Guangdong Province as the research object.Longchuan County,as a key poverty-stricken county in Guangdong Province,is under the background of the reform of government institutions,accurate poverty alleviation and the implementation of rural revitalization strategy.The development of tourism is conducive to adjusting the industrial structure of Longchuan County,improving living standards,protecting the ecological environment,and promoting steady economic growth.Longchuan County is rich in tourism resources,complete categories,low consumption of tourism resources and high correlation degree,which can directly drive the development of accommodation,entertainment,catering and other related industries,and the economic multiplier is much higher than that of other industries.Therefore,in recent years,Long Chuan county government vigorously develop tourism,in order to promote the development of related industries through tourism to promote economic growth and get rid of poverty.However,due to economic backwardness and insufficient play of government functions,the comprehensive benefits of Long Chuan's tourism industry have not yet been brought into full play.Based on the theory of new public management,this paper analyzes the problems existing in the functions of Longchuan county government in the development of tourism and puts forward some suggestions for optimization,so as to give full play to the role of the government in the development of tourism and promote the economic development of Longchuan county.By using the methods of literature analysis and field investigation,this paper makes an in-depth study on the government functions in the development of tourism in Longchuan County.The paper is divided into six chapters.The first chapter is introduction,which describes the background and significance of the research,literature review,research ideas and methods,research framework and innovation.The second chapter introduces the relevant concepts and theoretical basis involved in the paper.The third chapter mainly introduces the performance of government functions in the development of tourism in Longchuan County;the fourth chapter mainly analyzes the problems and reasons of government functions in the development of tourism in Longchuan County;the fifth chapter aims at the existing problems.Based on the perspective of the new public management theory,this paper puts forward the countermeasures to optimize the government functions;the sixth chapter is the conclusion,which summarizes the research of this paper.Through the study,it is found that the government mainly has the problems of lack of macro-control ability,lack of customer-oriented consciousness,low degree of marketization and unclear performance appraisal mechanism.According to the existing problems,this paper puts forward some suggestions for opt:imizing government functions,including changing government functions,strengthening macro-control ability,customer-oriented,establishing service-oriented government,introducing market competition mechanism and sustainable development.Learn from the concept of private sector management,improve the efficiency of government work,in order to promote the sustainable development of Long Chuan tourism,give full play to the benefits of tourism.The research results of this paper are expected to enrich the application of new public management theory in the development of tourism.It can provide some experience for Longchuan County and other cities and counties to transform government functions,improve work efficiency and optimize development path in tourism management.
