The Young Pioneers is a mass organization of Chinese children that founded and led by the Communist Party of China.The Young Pioneers’Education which throughout the 1 st to 8th grades should give full play to the role of morality cultivation and promote the all-round development of children and adolescents.Children in different grades and different stages of development have their own unique stage characteristics.A clear stratified and structured Young Pioneer education system is an indispensable factor in improving the educational effect.However,the research on the Young Pioneers education is mostly focused on the research of educational content or educational activities in a certain field,such as ritual education,model education and the current situation of activity classes.The research on the stratified education of the Young Pioneers is relatively lacking.Although "The guidelines for the Implementation of the Young Pioneers Activity Curriculum in the Years" was issued,the activities of all grades were of the same type and did not highlight the characteristics of the Young Pioneers’ education stratification.This study aims to analyze the stage characteristics of children of different grades through theoretical combing and empirical data analysis,and then construct a stratified system of the Young Pioneers education.Firstly,this study establishes theoretical support from the psychological characteristics,political characteristics and the support of relevant policies for the development of children and adolescents.Through literature review,the characteristics of children in different school stages are comprehensively analyzed from many aspects.Specifically,the elementary school students in the lower grades are mainly perceptual knowledge,lively and active,depending on adult evaluation,eager to get praise;the children in the middle grades are gradually developing socialization,and begin to pay attention to peers,self-awareness,and transition to ideal understanding;the children in the upper grades are improving their self-evaluation ability,paying attention to their inner thoughts and having strong independent consciousness;The junior high school children are mainly rational thinking,but they are emotionally sensitive,constantly challenge themselves and are eager to be recognized.Our country’s policy documents also clearly put forward that young pioneer education should follow the growth needs of children,carry out education with rich forms,diversified ways,keeping pace with the times and constantly innovating.Secondly,through the combination of questionnaires and interviews,this study summarizes the characteristics of organizational identity and political socialization of children in different school stages through the analysis of empirical research data,and presents the content,the education form and the status quo of evaluation of education.of the Young Pioneers in different grades.Specifically,the organizational identity and political socialization of children and children in grades 1-8 are developing well,but the contents of Pioneer Education in different grades are mainly knowledge learning,ritual education and model education,and the methods of education are mostly focused on reasoning and model demonstration.The evaluation of education is mainly based on teachers’comments and self-evaluation.The theme of the activities is basically the same.It is difficult to take into account the characteristics and needs of children of different ages,which is not conducive to the deepening and expansion of the Young Pioneers education.Combining the existing research results and empirical research results,based on the characteristics and growth needs of children and adolescents in different school stages,and the requirements of young pioneer education,this study constructs a hierarchical and systematic stratified system of the Young Pioneer education from three aspects:the content of young pioneer education,the methods of education and the evaluation of education.
