Study On The Poverty Alleviation For Rural Poor Disabled People In Xiantao City

Poverty is one of the most acute social problems in the world today.How to Solve the problem of poverty has always been a common problem faced by all countries.Since the economic reform and open up,China's economy has developed rapidly and the people's living standards have improved remarkably under the leadership of the party.However,we must realize that there are still a large number of poor people in China.Although we have actively explored a road to poverty alleviation in practice,which is full of Chinese characteristic.And we have made great achievements in poverty alleviation.However,in order to achieve the goal of resolutely winning the fight against poverty in 2020,China's poverty alleviation work is still arduous,Among them,the rural disabled people need our special attention and special assistance,We must do our best to solve the poverty alleviation for rural poor people,which is related to the communication of the collective interests of disabled people in rural areas,the comprehensive well-off process of disabled people,and the whole poverty alleviation work of our party and the government.The Xiantao City has always regarded poverty alleviation work for the disabled as the top priority of the city's precise poverty alleviation work.It has made positive efforts for rural disabled people to reduce poverty and get rid of poverty,and made great progress in poverty alleviation work for rural disabled people.Over the past five years,more than 4,000 rural disabled people have been shaked off poverty of The Xiantao City,accounting for 66%of the total number of disabled people who are poor.This paper takes the poverty alleviation problem of rural disabled people in Xiantao City as the research topic.Based on the analysis of the current situation of poverty alleviation work in China and the characteristics of disabled people.Organizing the official statistics of Xiantao City.Using the method of questionnaire survey,30 villages(groups)of rural poverty-stricken disabled people in 5 townships of The Xiantao City were randomly selected as samples.A total of 300 questionnaires were distributed,and 276 valid questionnaires were finally obtained,covering rural poor disabled people of all ages,disability types and disability grades.At the same time,by visiting and communicating with the local disabled people as well as the workers.In view of the current situation of poverty alleviation in rural poverty-stricken people in Xiantao City,the analysis shows that there are the following problems in the poverty alleviation of rural disabled people in Xiantao City:the economic situation of rural disabled people is still severe,the rehabilitation medical services are difficult to cover,and the public services are lacking,poverty alleviation measures are not targeted,"Psychological poverty" is prominent etc..This paper further analyzes the causes of these problems,and puts forward the following recommendations:We must improve the preferential poverty alleviation measures and services for rural disabled persons;We must guide rural poverty disabled people actively participate in poverty alleviation and development;We must integrate the poverty alleviation and development of rural disabled people;We must improve the quality of poverty alleviation workers and improve the quality of poverty alleviation work;We must change the concept of poverty alleviation and innovate poverty alleviation methods etc..
