Group Involvement In The Improvement Of Children's Volunteers' Ability

With the continuous improvement of the level of social civilization and the rapid development of volunteer service,more and more children have begun to join the volunteer army.However,children's volunteers generally have problems such as lack of knowledge and skills,self-cognitive bias,and weak practical ability in services,resulting in low service levels and unsatisfactory service results.Based on the "small volunteers" project of Suzhou Venture philanthropy project,this paper builds a 10-person child volunteer capacity improvement team based on the preliminary needs research,using group work methods to intervene,combined with the ability assessment scale and community.The status quo of children's volunteers' services mainly enhances the service ability of children's volunteers from three levels:knowledge,skills,self-awareness and practice.This paper first introduces the development background and current situation of volunteer service,and then makes a literature review on the content,status quo and intervention methods of volunteer service at home and abroad,and combines the experience of relevant projects to design a questionnaire for 40 children volunteers in the community.Conduct a needs assessment.According to the needs of the client,the team work method is used to carry out the service capability improvement team to complete the group goal.Finally,through the evaluation questionnaire,the team will make a process evaluation and result evaluation,and summarize the experience and deficiencies in the research.I hope to make a small contribution to the research on the service ability improvement of children volunteers at home and abroad.
