| Since the beginning of the 21 st century,with the aging of China’s population,the issue of old-age care has become an unavoidable problem for society and every fami ly.In the second session of the 13 th National People’s Congress,Premier Li Keqiang mentioned "expanding the long-term care insurance system pilot program to enable the elderly to have a happy old age." But how to improve long-term care service capacit y requires mastering health care,chronic disease management,and rehabilitation.Traini ng and other professional caregivers are responsible.At present,the development level of aged care in China is relatively lagging behind,and there is a shortage of pension care talents.These problems pose severe challenges to the training of aged care profes sionals.Therefore,strengthening the cultivation system of old-age care talents and imp roving the overall level of old-age care are of great significance to the aging of Chin a’s population and the sustainable and healthy development of China’s old-age care.This study used questionnaire survey,observation method and interview method to conduct a group work on the service ability of long-term care institutions,and found that care workers have low professional quality,low service satisfaction,low level of care,lack of security defense.Awareness and many other issues.Therefore,this study attempts to explore the optimal path for the service capacity building of caregivers in the long-term care institutions for the elderly through the participation of the growth g roup.After consulting the relevant literature and thinking about the root causes of the long-term care needs of the elderly and the actual differences in the services provided by the institutional caregivers,the unique advantages of social workers in the long-ter m care institutions are taken into account,with the theory of empowerment and the th eory of Maslow’s hierarchy of needs.To guide the design team activities,improve the safety defense awareness,professional ethics,professional knowledge and skills and ps ychological counseling basic skills of long-term care organization caregivers in group a ctivities,and improve the long-term care institution services by improving the professi onal competence of long-term care institutions.Level and service professionalism.The results of various assessment methods show that the group members have established a good sense of safety and ethics after the intervention of the group activities,and im proved the professional knowledge and skills of the nursing.The service providers of the long-term care institutions have improved the service to the institutions after the i ntervention of the group activities.Satisfaction.The study affirmed the positive effect of group work intervention on the service capacity building of caregivers in the elderl y long-term care institutions.The research results show that the social work profession can provide another way of thinking for the service capacity building of the elderly l ong-term care institutions in China with a relatively independent and professional posit ion.It will be useful for reference in such research in the future.At the same time,i t is also strengthening the construction of social work teams;improving the manageme nt standards for long-term care institutions;improving the training methods for long-ter m care institutions;accelerating the construction of pension professional organizations;and increasing legal and policy support to provide long-term care institutions for the e lderly.Countermeasures for the construction of caregiver service capacity. |
