Study On The Function Of Urban Community Social Organizations In The New Period

Since reform and the opening to the outside world,along with deepening reform of economic and political structure,social organization in China has been growing rapidly.Since 1980s',construction of community has been proposed on the agenda day after day.Social organization in urban community gradually becomes the important carrier and the strength in constructing community,owing to its own superiority of flexible system,multi-purpose service form and widespread mass foundation.The vigorous development of social organization in community has aroused the social interest from all walks of life,who have carried out a lot of research on it both in theory and in practice.This thesis has conducted the research on social organization of community in functional advantage,factors of bringing function into play and the mechanism of function implement.All these studies are based on the conducted research and practice,in the view of function implement of social organization in community.Taking social organization of community in Jiangdong District,Ningbo as the case,the thesis analyzes the founction of community social organization in three aspects,namely providing public service to make up the flaw of government functions,integrating the reveal resources of manpower and finance in community itself as well as potential resources of social capital to optimize the disposition of resources and promote the development of community,guiding the inhabitant to participate in the community managing positively to promote democracy at the grassroots.This paper has been done through the form of literature analysis,questionnaire survey and expert interview.In the background of constructing socialism harmonious society,social organization in urban community,as one of basic strengths in construction of socialism harmonious society,plays more and more important role in constructing and managing community.Social organization has received increasing value from the central and local governments.But in practice,function superiority of social organization in urban community doesn't obtain the greatest degree of implementation,owing to the lackness of funds,imperfection of its own development,strongness of administrative attachment,insufficiency of legal and government support and so on.In order to promote the function implementation of social organization in urban community and its practical result in community management,we should establish a powerful mechanism to implement its function in four aspects,such as self-perfection mechanism,governmental supporting mechanism,supervision and management mechanism as well as politics and society interaction mechanism.
