Research On Game Design To Help The Cultivation Of College Students' Professionalism

Socialist core values can be summarized into three levels: state,society and individual citizens.Among them,dedication is one of the core values of socialism put forward by the Party based on the individual behavior of citizens.As the backbone of the future society,it is necessary for college students to carry out professional dedication education before they start to work.Serious games play unique functions with their positive game goals,figurative game contents and interactive penetrating game process.The main content of professionalism is integrated into the game mechanism to spread professional values in the form of serious games,so as to help the professional dedication of college students.This study focuses on the design strategy of using serious games to help the cultivation of college students' professional dedication from the perspective of game mechanism design.Firstly,this study summarizes the research status of college students' professional dedication,serious games in education and GROW coaching model at home and abroad.To explore the feasibility of serious game to help college stusents cultivate their professional dedication.Combining the psychological characteristics and game motivation of college students,this study analyzes the advantages and limitations of traditional methods of cultivating college students' professional dedication.It also discusses that serious game is an extension of traditional training methods from three aspects: the relevance between work and games,the functionality of serious games,and the plasticity of college students' attitudes and behaviors.Secondly,the GROW coaching model is used as the method framework to design the specific game mechanism: At the level of goal setting,propose the Five-dimensional character attribute design based on the employment quality of college students;At the level of recognizing the reality,propose the game task design of random card showing the professional behavior norms;At the level of providing options,propose the design of workplace scenario selection using STAR rule;At the level of willing feedback,propose the non-player character design based on the fish mapping of workplace groups.The four design strategies have built an organic interactive game that �setting goals-recognizing reality-providing optionswilling feedback�.Thirdly,combine the above game mechanics,design a serious game named�like a fish�,which aims to help college students cultivate their professionalism.Inthe form of text adventure game to help players understand the connotation of professional dedication.And organize players to try out the game,evaluate the effect of cultivating professional dedication,and verify the rationality and validity of the game mechanism design.Providing new ideas for serious game to disseminate socialist values of devotion to work.
