At this stage,China has entered an aging society,in which rural areas are more serious. With the advancement of urbanization and marketization,a large number of rural young adults and some middle-aged and elderly people go out to work, making the rural pension problem more prominent. At the same time, with the transformation of society, the intergenerational relationship in rural areas has also changed, making the elderly care for the elderly face a huge dilemma. The purpose of this paper is to study the plight and mode selection of rural old-age care in underdeveloped areas from the perspective of intergenerational relations.Firstly,on the basis of field investigation in Q County of Henan Province and investigation by other scholars,it is found that the intergenerational relationship in rural areas is characterized by the downward tilt of intergenerational focus, the transfer of intergenerational power and the rationalization of intergenerational interaction, which strongly impacts the traditional family pension model in rural areas, weakens the pension function of rural families, and makes the rural elderly face the dual difficulties of material and spiritual levels.Environment.Secondly,the change of intergenerational relationship has also changed the concept of rural old-age care, and the concept of self-pension is becoming more and more popular. With the constant adjustment of the rural elderly to the changes of intergenerational relations,self-supporting is rising. However, according to the survey results,self-supporting is mainly concentrated in the younger age group, and the older people have a higher demand for intergenerational feedback from their children.Thirdly, this paper combines the field survey and related theories to analyze the self-supporting of the elderly in rural areas.Through the analysis,it is concluded that the current intergenerational relationship and its changing trend show that in the child-rearing stage, the excessive intergenerational support of the rural elderly to their children leads to less self-saving,coupled with the reduction of land income, the self-supporting ability of the elderly is still at a low level. Therefore, the ruralself-supporting model in underdeveloped areas is a passive choice under the condition of insufficient intergenerational feedback and low social security level, and it is a transitional model of rural old-age support. Finally, with the increase of the proportion of the elderly population in rural areas, the needs of life care for the elderly will be provided by the society. Therefore, this paper analyses the socialized pension model from three perspectives: the recipient of pension service, the provider of pension service and the cost-utility.It is believed that the way out for the future rural pension in underdeveloped areas is to provide for the aged at home.Based on the above research results, the author is based on the actual situation in the countryside. It proposes to strengthen the functions of family pension through strengthening publicity, strengthening social public opinion constraints, and improving the laws related to old-age care and old-age care, while improving the self-supporting ability of rural elderly, developing and improving rural social security system, and mutual-supporting home-based care services.Rural pensions in underdeveloped areas.
