Study On The Problem Of Raising The Old Service Under Background Of The Aging Population In Jiangsu Province

Population aging is a major national problem facing all countries in the world,with the current situation differing from country to country.China has become one of the aging countries in the world since 2000.At present,compared with developed countries such as Europe and America,the aging in China is characterized with fast speed,large base,becoming aged before getting rich and senility.Population aging will eventually take a toll on the country's economy,politics and culture,especially on elderly care services.In China,the elderly mainly depend on family pension,social pension and institutional pension for elderly care.However,as the elderly population grows rapidly,the elderly care rate in China is constantly increasing,as the result of which the whole society's elderly care service is facing increasing burden.As an important part of social public services,the development of old-age care services is considered as an important way to deal with the aging population effectively.Jiangsu,the first province in China to be engaged in population aging,ranks the third in China in terms of its aging degree.Therefore,it is of great significance to have a deep study on the impact of aging population on the elderly care service in Jiangsu province.Based on the analysis of the previous research results and relevant statistical data,this paper studies the current situation of population aging in Jiangsu province and the increasingly serious problems brought by it.In view of the aging trend of population,this paper points out the influence of population aging on the development of old-age care service in Jiangsu province from five aspects,including: the policy of old-age care service can not adapt to the development of the new era;attach importance to public affairs and facilitate the handling of affairs by the people,and the development of the people's institutions for the aged is restricted;the infrastructure is inadequate;service personnel are in serious shortage;the professional level remains to be improved;big differences exist between urban and rural areas with structural imbalance.Finally,the following suggestions are put forward: the existing policy ofold-age care service should be optimized in Jiangsu province;by Integrating social resources,it should construct diversified pattern of old-age care service;increase publicity,encourage and guide private capital to participate in the development of pension services;vocational skills training should be strengthened for a professional service team;and the rural old-age care service system should be improved for a narrowed service gap between urban and rural areas.
