Research On The Problem Of Home Care For The Elderly In Chenzhou City, Shanxi Province

According to the data,by the end of 2015,the number of elderly people over 60 years of age in China has reached 220 million,and the elderly population with disability,lack of independence,old age,empty nests,and poverty has exceeded 40 million.China's huge ageing population,disabled old people and more than 15% of old-age dependency ratios have forced the government to consider the issue of old-age care as a political issue.Based on the practical experience of China's national conditions and old-age care model,the 13 th Five-Year Plan proposes to “build a multi-level old-age care service system based on home-based,community-based,and institutional-based supplements”.It is imperative for the community to provide for the elderly at home and the elderly to implement home-based pensions.Our current research on urban home-based care is mainly focused on the contents of home-based care services,service providers,and old-age pension funds.This paper mainly adopts questionnaires,informal interviews and literature research methods to investigate and analyze the problems of home care in Xinzhou,Shanxi province.As a special type of city-resource city,Xinzhou city of Shanxi Province,the economic development depends mainly on resource development and resource processing.Facing the test of economic transformation,upgrading of industrial structure and the severe ecological environment,how is the status of home care for the aged in Xinzhou city of Shanxi Province under the new development background?Through the selection of several communities with different levels of economic and home development,the questionnaire investigates the needs of the elderly,the development of the community home care service content,the nursing staff and the community managers.According to the results of the survey,it mainly analyzes the old-age style,the satisfaction of the home care service,the most hoped for the home care service and the needs of the community nursing staff in Xinzhou city.Explore thefactors such as social environment,policy system,funding source,talent team,and historical reasons.Starting from the local practical problems in Shengzhou,Shanxi Province,explore how cities in resource-difficult situations can better develop home-based care for the elderly and put forward some feasible countermeasures.There are government policy support and economic subsidies,the establishment of a social filial atmosphere,the construction of professional talents,etc.In order to better support the development of old-age care,it will provide some reference for the development of home-based care for the same type of cities.
