Research On The Protection Of Consumers' Rights In Online Catering Service

With the rapid spread of Internet technology,online catering platforms have quickly occupied a major position in people's lives.Technology can accelerate the development of an industry,and also make the drawbacks infinitely magnified.The online catering industry has facilitated the lives of the people,but it has also caused some lawless elements to exploit the drawbacks of the Internet,seriously jeopardizing the legitimate rights and interests of consumers.The governance of the online catering industry involves relevant administrative departments,third-party platform providers,network operators,consumers and other actors.In the existing literature,the research on the protection of consumer rights in the online catering industry is not comprehensive,and Pay more attention to theoretical analysis.Moreover,China's legal regulation of online catering services is still in its infancy,and relevant laws and regulations need to be further improved.In view of this,this article takes the legislative status of the online catering service industry as the foothold and elaborates on how to regulate the online catering service market.On the basis of analyzing relevant legislative issues,combined with the status quo of the industry,it provides suggestions on the lack of legislation in China's online catering industry.This paper firstly describes the current situation of the network catering industry,summarizes the existing research in the online catering industry,and lays a corresponding theoretical foundation for the following related legal countermeasures.Secondly,it analyzes the status quo of China's online catering service industry legislation,and points out that China's laws and regulations have problems in the protection of consumer rights in the online catering industry,so that we can make targeted suggestions below.Finally,in view of the status quo of legislation in the online catering service industry,relevant suggestions on protecting consumer rights in the online catering industry are proposed from the legislative level,especially in terms of third-party platform providers,protection of consumer rights,and standardization of credit ratings.
