Study On Xi Jinping's Thought About The Integration Of Urban-rural Areas

On the course of comprehensively building a moderately prosperous society,the urban-rural integration is an indispensable part and a critical component for realization of great rejuvenation of Chinese nation.At present,the urban-rural dual structure has undoubtedly and directly impeded the process of modernization and comprehensively building a well-off society.The contradiction between urban and rural has become one of the most prominent contradictions of building a moderately prosperous society.It is high time to break urban-rural dual structure.Comrade Xi Jinping,as general secretary of the CPC Central Committee,emphasized in the Third Plenary Session of the 18 th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China that we should improve the institutional systems and spare no efforts to eradicate the urban-rural dual structure.The fifth Plenary Session of the 18 th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China mentioned that promote the coordinated development of urban-rural areas and to improve the system of the integration of urban-rural development mechanism again.Xi Jinping has focused on the development of urban-rural for a long time.He cares the problem of agriculture,rural areas and farmers.At the same time he cares new rural construction and the integration of urban and rural in the work practice.He has put forward a series of new thoughts,new ideas,new requirements and new measures.This article is based on the current situation of urban-rural development to study his thought including background,theoretical origin,process of formation and development,content and characteristics,position and practical significance in detail.The main study methods are dialectical materialism,literature research and comparative study.This paper consists of five parts: the first part introduces the background,significance,related current situation at home and abroad,methods and contents of the research.The second part introduces the origin of the theory of urban-rural thought,which includes Marx and Engels coalesce ideas and the thoughts of Mao Zedong,Deng Xiaoping,Jiang Zemin,Hu Jintao.The third part explains the process of urban-rural development,and describe the urban-rural thought of Xi Jinping comprehensively.This process describes the budding,the initial shaping,the basic formation and the deepening from the vertical angle analysis and discusses the urban-rural development in a in-depth way.The fourth part introduces the content and characteristics of the integration of urban and rural areas.This content includes the agriculture-related issues,the urbanization problem,resource allocation and municipal management.It has some characteristics,such as comprehensive system,respected rules,love the people,do practical things,plan as a whole.The fifth part is the theoretical position and practical significance of Xi Jinping 's thought of urban and rural areas.It can develop the Marxist thought on urban-rural relationship,enrich the theoretical system of socialism with Chinese characteristics and provide guiding ideology on urban-rural development.It can facilitate the abolishment of the urban and rural,promote the construction of a moderately prosperous society and achieve the "China Dream".
