In view of third-party collection and remanufacturing operations of waste products, current concerns of patent protection and government regulation come into notice. In order to examine the dynamic game between manufacturers, remanufacturers and government in the context of patent protection and government regulation,This paper constructs four models of no patent protection without government regulation, patent protection without government regulation,no patent protection with government regulation and patent protection with government regulation, solves the optimal production-price decision and remanufacturing performance level separately, and draws a functional image of the optimal decision-making and corporate profits of all parties to reflect the environmental benefits and social welfare of the four different modes.Comparing the basic conclusions of the four sets of model solving and numerical analysis, this paper puts forward the following points: In different stages of remanufacturing development, the game parties will adjust their strategies according to the changes of production cost, rework acceptance, ratio of subsidy and tax, etc. The manufacturer-led patent licensing mechanism has a certain inhibitory effect on remanufacturing activities and does not bring significant benefits to manufacturers until the remanufacturing industry is relatively well developed. The government-led extended producer responsibility(EPR)system is beneficial to promote the development of remanufacturing industry in its inception, and effectively enhances the product recovery rate at once.In addition, the progress of the system is positively correlated with the environmental benefits brought by remanufacturing. The conclusions provide sensible references of production strategy selections for various enterprises during the remanufacturing implementations of patented products,as well as fiscal policy formulations for the government in all stages of remanufacturing development.
