The Research Of Social Education In The Western Henan Anti-Japanese Base Area

Western Henan Anti-Japanese Base Area is one of the bases established by the Communist Party of China during the Anti-Japanese War.Its social education is an important part of the new-democratic cultural education of the Communist Party of China.It is under the guidance of Marxism,on the basis of summing up the experience of previous social education work,combining the actual situation of Western Henan and social education with local characteristics.In the exploration of the early education work of the Communist Party of China,it has played an important role in connecting the preceding with the following.It promoted the victory of the War of Resistance Against Japan and the War of Liberation,and laid the foundation for the social and educational undertakings of New China.Based on the educational theory of Marx,Engels,Lenin,Mao Zedong and other people,and combined with the policies,principles and organizational forms of social education in the anti-Japanese base areas of Western Henan,this paper focuses on the development stage and implementation process of social education in the base areas,and analyses and summarizes its main characteristics.Generally speaking,the social education in the anti-Japanese base areas of Western Henan is closely linked with the mass labor production.Through the propaganda of Party and government programs,the study of cultural knowledge,military armed training,life skills training and the performance of literary and artistic activities,it carries out the popular cultural education in accordance with all the principles of serving the war,which has wartime,pertinence,practicality and universality.And other characteristics.Under the harsh environment and background of the War of Resistance Against Japan,the social education carried out in the base areas has strengthened the revolutionary stand and confidence of the people in resisting Japan,raised the cultural level and quality consciousness of the masses,trained a large number of intellectuals and reserve cadres,improved the people's production and living standards,and promoted the developmentof political and economic undertakings in the base areas.But it also inevitably has historical limitations such as unbalanced development,lack of funds and shortage of teachers.Analyzing and summarizing the experience of social education in the anti-Japanese base areas in Western Henan can provide useful enlightenment for the study of the history of the development of Marxism in China,and can be used for reference in the social education and rural adult education in the new period.
