Research On The Ability Of Public Security Intelligence Analysts

With the in-depth expansion of intelligence-led policing strategy,intelligence analysis of public security has played an increasingly important role in public security work,especially in making decision of public security,with an irreplaceable position.The intelligence work of public security is in full swing,which makes the demand for intelligence analysts is increasing,and the requirements for personal capability and competence are constantly improving.However,according to the existing system,there is a great gap between the ability requirements of training system of intelligence analysts and the actual work needs,which leads to the lag in the construction of team built by public security intelligence analysts,and there is a big difference among the member's ability,so it is difficult to improve their ability.It urgently requires the public security organization of the country to learn the advanced experience,formulate feasible public security intelligence analyst selection mechanism and ability standards,perfect relevant systems,perfect the training system for intelligence analysts to promote the development of public security intelligence work well.This paper is through the combination of the advanced experience at home and abroad to compare the actual needs of public security work in China,and analyze the shortcomings and the reasons for the lack of personal capacity of existing intelligence analysts according to the current situation of grassroots public security intelligence analysts,finally,to establish a systematic ability model of public security intelligence analysts.First of all,based on the research background and its meaning,make a fully understand of the importance of the research on the ability of public security intelligence analysts;Second,based on the research on the capabilities of intelligence analysts at home and abroad,the reasons for the lack of capacity and competence of intelligence of analysts are found combined with the actual situation of public security work in China.Then,combined with the advanced experience at home and abroad and the reality of our country,a three-dimensional integrated capability model including the individual trait,knowledge,skills for public security intelligence analysts is established.Finally,based on the capability model and the analysis of the constraints,to find a solution to improve the capabilities of intelligence analysts.The research on the ability of public security intelligence analysts that is beneficial to improve the ability of the analysts themselves,or the construction of the public security intelligence analysis team,or the development of public security intelligence work,as it is the premise and foundation for doing all the work under the intelligence-led policing mode.It can help absorb more outstanding analytical talents into the intelligence analysis team,and help improve the public security intelligence work to a higher level.
