For a long time, poverty has been a social phenomenon and an important problem hindering China's economic development and social progress.China's ethnic areas have a large population and a remote geographical location, and the causes of poverty are very complex, making it difficult to get rid of poverty. If these problems of poverty are not solved in time, then these poor groups are likely to become unstable factors, thus affecting the long-term stability of the society. If a class does not have an upward circulation channel, then our whole society may be in a closed environment. The poor people at the bottom of the society will either be satisfied with the status quo or rise up against it,causing social unrest.Preventing and blocking the intergenerational transmission of poverty is the top priority in today's society, and also the key to solve the problem of poverty. In recent years, solving the problem of poverty alleviation has always been the top priority of the party and the country. The eleventh five-year plan has clearly set the prevention of intergenerational transmission of poverty as a new goal of combating poverty.The19 th national congress of the communist party of China has clearly put forward the phenomenon that children from poor families lose at the starting line and the intergenerational transmission of poverty. In this context, the paper makes an in-depth study of how poverty intergenerational transmission is formed and how poverty is transmitted from parents to children, and puts forward Suggestions to prevent poverty intergenerational transmission. This is conducive to improving the precision of poverty alleviation and avoiding blind poverty alleviation, which is of great significance for promoting the economic development of ethnic areas and China's "targeted poverty alleviation" strategy. This paper takes poor families in ethnic areas as the object of analysis.Based on the interview data of 9 poor families, this paper describes and analyzes this kind of population on the basis of individual cases, and interprets the intergenerational transmission of poverty.Through the research to the choice of the poverty situation of introduction and poor sample, from the human capital, physical capital, financial capital, many children, the backward ideology and physical illness factors in six aspects: describes the reasons of generating and intergenerational transmission of poverty, secondly, parent of poverty factors easily transmitted to offspring make itspoverty. There is a great correlation between the income level of children and that of their parents. The income of children is often restricted by the economic conditions of their parents.Influenced by the negative thoughts of their parents, their children lack the motivation and confidence to make progress, which may easily lead to their own poverty. The parents of poor families have a low skill stock, and their children have a hard time acquiring skills through the formal system. As a result, the parents' low skill stock is duplicated and they are engaged in some low-end jobs.Children born in poor families, due to the lack of education level of their parents, their academic performance and comprehensive ability is also relatively weak. The poverty of the parents also has an impact on the health stock of the children. In poor families, the pattern of poverty--disease is repeated repeatedly, creating a vicious circle. At last, the paper puts forward some policies and Suggestions on how to block the intergenerational transmission of poverty. The intergenerational transmission of poverty not only restricts the development of the poor groups themselves, but also affects the healthy development of the next generation. This paper focuses on the observation of intergenerational transmission of poverty,so as to provide some basis for timely prevention of intergenerational transmission.
