College student cadres are organizers,coordinators and executors in school education,management,and service work;they are important components of the student work team;a vital force of promoting reform,development and stability of the school,and serve as a bridge and tie between university students and teachers.They are organizers of self-education,self-management and self-service of college students,and influence the well-rounded development of students in college ideological and political education as role models.College student cadres being an important role who possess certain leadership attributes,their leadership cultivation features distinct Chinese characteristics which are highly valued by the Central Committee of the Youth League,and it has become an important part of early leadership cultivation of college student cadres(hereinafter referred to as "leadership cultivation").In recent years,with the radiation of the leadership education of foreign students and the development and changes of talent cultivation objectives in higher institutions,research on leadership education of Chinese university students gradually develops.An increasing number of colleges and universities consider fostering leadership quality of university students as an important goal of talent cultivation.They also make an active exploration of college student leadership cultivation featured with Chinese characteristics.Therefore,in this process,the evaluation of the leadership of university student cadres should be paid great attention to.However,by examining increasingly active leadership cultivation activities in recent decade,what is noteworthy is that in the process of practice,the importance,normativity and scientificity of carrying out the evaluation of educating people have been neglected.It becomes an impending issue to be solved in academic researches and practical project of university students ' leadership cultivation.It also becomes the key problem that needs to face in realizing the pertinence and effectiveness of ideological and political education for college students.Considering this,adopting the literature research method,qualitative research method,case study and comparative reference method,based on "student-oriented" educational idea,this research puts student cadre individual leadership evaluation as the standpoint,aimed to evaluate the effects of college student cadre cultivation,and will probe into the effective ways of evaluating college student leadership cultivation.This thesis is composed of six sections.The introduction part introduces the research background and research significance;proposes research thought and research method;defines relatively basic concepts.The first chapter sorts out the theoretical ground of leadership cultivation of college student cadres;the second chapter expounds the significance of leadership evaluation;the third chapter summarizes the present situation of evaluation of the leadership of college student cadres and discusses in detail about the problems and reasons of the current leadership cultivation evaluation;the fourth chapter provides pertinent evaluating countermeasures and suggestions.The conclusion part carries out the research reflection and states the research deficiency and research prospect.
