Research On International Police Law Enforcement Cooperation Against Transnational Wildlife Crimes

With the further development of economic globalization and liberalization,wildlife has become the third largest object of illegal trade after drugs and weapons.It is urgent to crack down on Transnational wildlife crimes.However,the research on prevention and control of such crimes at home and abroad is still in its infancy,and there are few mature experiences and concrete mechanisms for police law enforcement cooperation to combat such crimes.Based on the analysis of relevant cases,this paper summarizes the characteristics,laws and development trends of transnational wildlife crime.Through literature review,the experiences and challenges of combating transnational wildlife crime are summarized.On the basis of comparing law enforcement cooperation between China and foreign countries and relevant international organizations,this paper puts forward some ideas and measures to improve the international police law enforcement cooperation mechanism against Transnational wildlife crime,which can provide reference for law enforcement cooperation between China and relevant countries and international organizations.This paper is divided into six chapters: The first chapter introduces the research background and research significance of this paper,summarizes the research results at home and abroad,and determines the research ideas and methods.The second chapter introduces the connotation of transnational wildlife crime and international police law enforcement cooperation,analyzes the domestic and international status,characteristics and development trends of such crimes,and points out its impact on economic development,social stability and ecological security.The third chapter analyzes the legal basis and institutional framework of the international police law enforcement cooperation against transnational wildlife crime from both international and domestic aspects.The fourth chapter analyzes the operation of law enforcement cooperation on international and regional transnational wildlife crimes and the participation of our country.On the basis of summarizing the experience and challenges of international police law enforcement cooperation in transnational wildlife crime.The fifth chapter proposes the improvement measures of the international police law enforcement cooperation mechanism against transnational wildlife crime from five aspects: intelligence sharing,coordination command,joint law enforcement,dispute resolution and law enforcement guarantee.The conclusion summarizes the work done in this paper,points out the shortcomings of this study,and puts forward the prospect of global governance of wildlife crime.
