A Study On The Workers' Group Of The Thirdline Construction In Shanxi Province

After the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China made the decision to build the third line,most areas of Shanxi were included in the scope of the third line construction because of its unique geographical location and topographic conditions.The third-line construction in Shanxi Province spanned15 years from 1965 to 1970.It mainly includes the construction of national defense industry,railway construction,energy,metallurgy,machinery and other fields.Taking the 4370,4542 and speaker factories of the electronic industry base in southeastern Shanxi as examples,this paper discusses the source composition,working conditions,living conditions,ideological situation,social mobility and the impact on local residents of the worker group in the third-line construction of Shanxi Province,and analyses the process of the transformation from planned economy to socialist market economy in China.The changes of various aspects of the workers' groups in the third-line construction in ShanxiProvince.The first chapter is the introduction,which introduces the purpose and significance of this study,the research summary at home and abroad and the research methods and innovations.Chapter 2 is divided into three parts to introduce the background of the formation of workers' group in the third-line construction of Shanxi Province,including the national third-line construction,the third-line construction of Shanxi Province,and the construction of 4370,4542 and audio factories selected in this paper.This paper summarizes the historical conditions for the formation of workers' groups in the third-line construction in Shanxi Province.Chapter three introduces the source and composition of the workers' group in the construction of the third-line enterprises in Shanxi Province at different stages,and explains the personnel changes in different stages of the development of the third-line enterprises.Chapter IV introduces the work situation of the workers in the third-line construction in Shanxi Province from the aspects of organizational changes,working hours,working environment and tasks,the impact of the "Cultural Revolution" and salary treatment.The fifth chapter introduces the living conditions of the workers in the third-line construction in Shanxi Province.This paper introduces its basic living conditions from four aspects: transportation,housing conditions,children's education,medical and health care;cultural and recreational activities from fouraspects: learning activities,entertainment activities,labor competitions and sports;and psychological changes from two aspects: staff's emotional changes and social identity changes.Chapter 6 introduces the current situation of the life development of the third-tier workers and their children in Shanxi Province and the impact of the third-tier workers on the local residents.The source composition,working conditions,living conditions,social mobility and their impact on local residents of the third-line construction workers in Shanxi Province is a microcosm of the process of the third-line construction in Shanxi Province and even in the whole country,but it also has its own characteristics.The change of the third-line workers in Shanxi Province not only reflects the working and living conditions of the workers in public-owned enterprises under the background of planned economy,but also presents various problems they have experienced in the process of social change.
