Research On The Influe Nce And Countermeasures Of The Middle East Security Risk On "Belt And Road"

The “Belt and Road” initiative is an international economic cooperation initiative by China under the new situation.The countries in the Middle East are not only the traditional participants and contributors of the ancient silk road,but also the natural partners of co-building the “Belt and Road”.They are also the meeting point of the “Belt and Road” initiative.This paper begins with a clear discussion of the historical origin and contemporary value of the Middle East participation in “Belt and Road”,and lists the achievements made in the Middle East participation in the construction of “Belt and Road”,which leads to the necessity of research the influence of its security risks of “Belt and Road”.Security risks can be divided into traditional and non-traditional security risks.In the field of traditional security risks,this article mainly expounds their influence on the construction of “Belt and Road” from the aspects of the instability of the regime under the wave of democratization in the Middle East,the independence of the Kurdish region and the wrestling risks of great powers.In the field of non-traditional security risks,the mainly discussed issues such as the spread of terrorism and extremism in the Middle East,the threat of sea routes,the refugee problem and the shortage of water resources and their impact on the construction of “Belt and Road”.According to the challenges of “Belt and Road” construction in traditional and non-traditional security risks,this article puts forward feasible countermeasures at the international level,the government level and the enterprise level.At the international level,we should avoid being involved in geopolitical disputes,seek multilateral cooperation to resolve differences and build a model country.Establish and improve the regional risk assessment system and “Belt and Road” discourse system at the government level;At the enterprise level,when carrying out specific projects,we should fully consider the needs of the people in the areas along the road,improve the risk management awareness of overseas investment and other measures,so as to alleviate or eliminate the negative impact o f these risks and help the “Belt and Road” construction.
