Social Work Involvement Of Urban Empty Nest Elderly Loneliness

The rapid development of China's population and the lack of old-age resources have become one of the most urgent problems to be solved in the contemporary era.With the change of family structure in the contemporary era,the proportion of old people living with their children has been decreasing year by year,and empty nesters have become a new term in the elderly group.Today,with sufficient material information,the basic daily life of empty nesters can be fully guaranteed,but mental health is often neglected.Loneliness is the most prominent psychological problem for empty nesters,and it is widespread in society.The problem of loneliness of the empty nesters is one of the obstacles in the development of the elderly in the empty nest.Every year,empty nesters can hardly endure inner loneliness and finally choose suicide cases everywhere.Therefore,the problem of loneliness of empty nesters is in urgent need of help from outside forces.Children should strengthen emotional communication with empty nesters and allow empty nesters to receive family support.Communities should strengthen community network mechanisms and provide more community support for empty nesters.The government should increase policy support,advocate the whole society to care for the empty nesters,and create a good social environment for the empty nesters;it also needs various scientific fields to intervene and use scientific theories and methods to solve the loneliness problem of the empty nesters.This article takes X community in Xi'an as an example to study the loneliness of empty nesters through social work.First of all,through the study of the academic research and the latest news on the loneliness of the empty nest elderly,on the basis of fully understanding the relevant theoretical basis and specific implementation,the author took advantage of the project of the Chunxia Social Work Service Center in the X community.Questionnaires and field interviews were used to understand the empty nesters in the X community,to understand the problem of psychological loneliness in the empty nesters,and to analyze the causes of loneliness.This article mainly uses the two basic methods of case work and group work to intervene in the X community empty nesters.In the process of intervention,guided by the theory of activity theory and life history theory,the potential of empty nesters is actively explored,and families,communities,etc.are actively linked.Resources,rebuilding the social support network system,alleviating the loneliness in the X community and improving the life satisfaction of empty nesters.In the three months of providing social work services to the elderly in the X community in Xi'an,the loneliness of empty nesters was alleviated,and the ability of empty nesters to adapt to the environment was improved.It is also expected to study the loneliness of empty nesters.Social work involves providing certain materials.After the end of this study,from the perspective of social work,this paper proposes reflections and countermeasures on the problem of loneliness of the empty nesters in the future,pays attention to the professional qualities of social workers,enhances the level of social work and service,enhances the subjective initiative of the empty nesters,and builds children and The empty nest elderly communication bridge,while the government should also increase financial support and policy guidance,the community to work together to solve the problem of loneliness of empty nesters.This paper combines theory with practice to study the loneliness of empty nesters from the perspective of social work,which has certain academic value.
