Group Work Intervention Study On Relief Of Loneliness Among Empty Nest Elderly In X Community Of Dalian

In recent years,with the aging of our population and the miniaturization of the family structure,more and more elderly people live separately from their children,making these elderly people empty nests.Compared with ordinary elderly people,empty-nest elderly people lack the companionship of their children.Because of being alone for a long time,psychological problems are prone to occur.The most common psychological problem is loneliness.And most of them do not have a universal perception of loneliness,and let the loneliness develop into a vicious circle.Most of these empty-nest old people don't like to go out to socialize,have no friends,hobby is single,boring,and often feel boring.In the long run,it will cause severe loneliness or depression in this group of people,and even worse,it will cause worldly misery and suicidal behavior.It can be seen that helping these empty nest elderly to understand the dangers of loneliness and getting rid of the loneliness is an extremely important and urgent social task.Therefore,it is of great social significance to study and intervene in the empty nest elderly who are facing loneliness.Based on this background,from the perspective of social work,this study takes the empty nest elderly in the X community in Dalian as the research object,and uses the social work method of group work to carry out corresponding group activities to achieve the purpose of alleviating the loneliness of the empty nest elderly in the X community.In the main part of this article,the author first used the data analysis method and observation method to understand the current situation of the empty nest elderly in the entire community,and then through the questionnaire survey method,with the help of the UCLA loneliness scale(revised version)to the Dalian X community empty nest elderly Carry out a preliminary survey on the status of loneliness,and finally use the interview method to analyze the causes of loneliness,and organize and analyze these materials.Under the support of the energization theory,social support theory and Maslow's demand theory,we have studied strategies to alleviate the loneliness of empty nesters,intervened with empty nesters in X community,designed targeted group activities,and carried out together Six events.Through the development of group activities,the elderly in empty nests have improved their self-regulation ability,strengthened their connections with their children,cultivated a variety of leisure interests,and built a social support network.Finally,they achieved the goal of alleviating the loneliness of elderly in empty nests.The whole article is divided into five parts.The first part introduces the research background and significance,research review and research methods of this article;the second part clearly defines the concept and theoretical basis;the third part explains the empty nest of X community in Dalian The current situation of loneliness of the elderly;the fourth part is the specific intervention process and evaluation work of the group;the fifth part is the suggestions and reflections of this study.
