With the development of the economy, the medical condition have been improved as well as the people's lifespan.China has entered the aging society. As the growth of age, their body functions are gradually declining and a series of diseases have emerged. As a result, there are many disabled and moderate disabled elders. In China, the majority of disabled and moderate disabled old people depend on the family care, and the family caregivers become the main bearer of disabled elders.Among them, the psychological and physical problems of family caregivers for disabled elderly people have received attention from the community, but family caregivers of moderate disabled elderly are easily overlooked by society. The moderate disabled old person is between disability and self-care.Although it has not reached the degree of disability yet,the emotional problems that family caregivers have during the care process will affect the physical and mental health of the family caregiver.Ultimately, this will indirectly lead to the transformation of moderate disabled elderly into disability old people.Long-term and tedious care work can make home caregivers have nowhere to vent their emotions,so the problems such as depressed mood, mental disorders, and social tensions will affect the daily life of family caregivers. Therefore, this study focuses on the emotional problems of caregivers of semi-disabled elderly families, analyze the performance and causes of adverse emotions among moderate disabled family caregivers, understand the needs of clients and use case work methods to intervene. This study is based on the case of the "tumbler" home fall prevention and the caregivers of moderate disabled elderly families in the action program of the lower extremity strength training program.During the service process, the elderly were found to have negative emotions, and the SAS anxiety self-assessment scale was used. The SDS self-rating depression scale survey found that the client's mood needs improvement. After soliciting the consent of the elderly, this study conducted a relevant analysis of the elderly as a service target. The study found that the negative emotions of family caregivers of the moderate disabled elderly have indicative of anxiety, depression, sadness, and sadness. These bad emotions are mainly caused by multiple reasons, such as inability to vent their emotions, psychological burden, and lack of emotional support. For these reasons, this study adopts a rational emotional therapy model to engage in social work interventions for the emotional improvement of home caregivers for the moderate disabled elderly.Based on the professional relationship of mutual trust with the research subjects, the researchers communicated with the research subjects and worked out the social work service goals for the research subjects.Under the guidance of social support theory and ABC theory, the researchers followed the steps and procedures of social work, combined the basic practical skills of social work with the methods of rational mood treatment, and after many formal interviews, listened to the inner heart of the service target. The idea is to help the client vent their negative emotions, help the client to increase their sense of self-identity,and link community resources to give them necessary care and help.In the end, this research carried out an exploratory research on the emotional problems of rational emotional therapy interventions for home caregivers of semi-captive elderly people, and demonstrated the ideas, methods, and contents of how to effectively intervene, and provided reference the emotional problems for the casework involved in family caregivers.Although in the process of implementing the research, the researchers feel that there are many limitations in the model itself and encounter obstacles in the work, but the researchers hope to accumulate some practical experience for the research in this field through their own efforts, and at the same time call for the community to increase concern for such vulnerable groups.
