Design And Development Of Myanmar Seafarer Documents And Certificates Record Management System

The main challenge facing government departments is effective management.Types of large amounts of data and different information encounters everyday-to-day.In daily life in modern society,databases and database technology are an essential component.Nowadays,it widely used in every organization.The database management system(DBMS)is the most common key tool designed to serve users around the database contains programs that enable users to create and maintain a database.Paper-based traditional operational costs are expensive but ineffective.This thesis focuses on the design and development of Myanmar Seafarer Documents and Certificates Record Management System to effectively manage department information and seafarer certificates record management which enables the users of the department to access the important information with ease through a user-friendly application.In an organization that has many departments,all these departments provide various records regarding seafarers.Most of these documents records need to maintain information about the seafarers.Thus by proposing a computerized seafarer record management system will enable the users to access data at any time and any place.The main objective of this project is to build a seafarer documents and certificates database system which provides administrative staff to log in onto the application and register the documents,issuing the certificates in a simple and easy way,store and record the documents.The Seafarer Database System will allow Login to register of Myanmar Seafarer Certificates,approve the register,view the certificate,issue the certificate,edit,update seafarer's details record,and log out the system.The proposed system is intended to make life easy and to provide better services to users,meaningful provides consistent and timely delivery of information,and finally to enhance the paper process to electronic format.This system was developed using Microsoft SQL.It was created using basic techniques like embedded Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio.All stages of the software development stage are used and should be described as easy and robust to the user.
