With the constant change of the current social security situation and the rapid development of social economy,public security organs are under increasing pressure to maintain social security and stability,however,with the existing police resources,it is difficult to smoothly solve various complex problems in the current social management process.Therefore,expanding the size of the police assistants team,relying on them to jointly undertake the tasks of maintaining public order and stability,striking prevention and control,and serving the masses,has become the only choice to alleviate the pressure of police affairs.But,with the surge in the number of police assistants team in recent years,plus the relevant police assistants team management system,supervision and assessment,salary security and other "software" construction did not keep up in time,which has led to many problems in the development of the team,and has affected the functionality of the team.Based on the incentive theory,the new public management theory,multi-center governance theory and the human resources management theory,using the methods of literature,empirical analysis and inductive reasoning,this paper first clarifies the basic concepts involved in the management of the police assistants team,and refers to the domestic and foreign police assistants team management system,grasps the evolution and development of the police assistants team system from the macro level.Based on this theory,take Wuzhong District of Suzhou City as a typical case,the general situation of the whole police assistants team,personnel classification,management system norms,salary and welfare security are studied in detail,and see the essence through the phenomenon,we find the problems and deep-seated reasons in the process of assistant police force in Wuzhong District.Finally,guided by the basic theory and combined with the actual situation of Wuzhong District,some constructive suggestions are put forward to improve the management quality of the police assistants team,so as to promote the management of the police assistants team in Wuzhong to run on a benign track.
