In 2019,it was 33 years since the Chernobyl accident.Support for the victims of this man-made disaster remains an important part of the state's social obligations.The relevance of my chosen research topic is simple:the protection of citizens 'rights in the field of social security is one of the most important tasks of the Republic of Belarus as a social state.Also,the relevance of this research is due to the need for a theoretical understanding of the current state of state policy in the field of eliminating the consequences of the Chernobyl accident in order to develop proposals for its optimization.This unique experience of dealing with the consequences of a nuclear accident can be used in other countries where the population is facing the devastating results of emergencies caused by man-made disasters and wars.The dissertation research examines the features of the process of formation and implementation of state policy in the field of elimination of the consequences of the Chernobyl accident,as well as its main problem fields and areas of improvement.The first Chapter of the introduction examines the background of the research and the significance of the research,reviews of foreign and domestic research,describes the ideas and methods of this research.The second Chapter discusses the concept of social policy of the Republic of Belarus,the basics of social policy,implementation programs and key indicators of social policy.The third Chapter of the study deals with the medical,socio-economic consequences of the Chernobyl accident and measures for pollution prevention,medical care and socio-economic recovery.The fourth Chapter discusses the development and implementation of social policy in connection with the Chernobyl accident.The fifth Chapter deals with the consequences of the social policy of the Chernobyl accident.
