Exploring The Experiences Of Rural Community Construction

In response to the rural revitalization strategy proposed by the Nineteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China,social workers took advantage of their own value,took the opportunity of rural community construction projects as an opportunity to serve the vast number of rural villagers with professional knowledge,and helped rural areas to step out of a new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics the way.This article takes the rural community construction project of L Sub-district in Wuhan as an example,from the perspective of social work,combined with social capital theory,under the regional development model,using participatory observation method and case analysis method to analyze and summarize the effectiveness and the need for improvement of the rural community construction project.And then based on the author's observation and thinking of the project,put forward targeted opinions and suggestions.The study found that in carrying out community-building projects,social workers can use social work professional guidance as a guide and use social work practice methods to create effective resources in the five areas of "people,culture,land,production,and scenery" for the community.Excavation and utilization can help realize self-produced and self-operated agricultural products in rural communities and export of agricultural products,improve the living conditions of villagers in the communities,and increase the happiness of villagers.In this process,social workers actively exert their policy and professional advantages,and take urban-rural interaction as a starting point.They have achieved considerable results in promoting villagers' participation and promoting industrial development.However,due to the individual factors of social workers and the constraints of the environment,the rural community construction project still shows inadequacies and needs to be improved,including inadequate professional representation of social work,low participation of villagers,and unclear responsibilities of the grassroots government.Administration and other aspects,for this reason,the author puts forward specific opinions and suggestions from both the social worker and the external environment.The development of community building in China is in the ascendant,and social workers' professional efforts to promote community building projects have initially shown their results.However,it should be noted that the concept of community building has been developing in the Mainland for a short time.At this stage,there is little research on community building,especially rural community building.This article takes concrete cases of rural community construction as an entry point,attempts to summarize the achievements and deficiencies of social workers in rural community construction projects,and provides ideas for enriching the localized experience exploration of social workers in community construction practices.
