Research On The Development Path Of Community Hospice Care Service

With the increasing degree of aging,the development of medical technology and the change of disease spectrum,people's terminal state is prolonged,which to some extent results in the lower quality of life in the terminal stage.In addition,the traditional concept of constraints,medical resources and family care function weakened all affect the development of hospice care services.In this context,how to build a hospice care service model suitable for China's national conditions,so that the end of life to obtain a higher quality of life is the focus of this paper.This paper adopts the method of in-depth interview and participatory observation to interview 14 social workers of C institution,social workers of community hospital and medical staff participating in the hospice care service project based on the hospice care service project carried out by C institution in Shanghai.Social workers in different places,according to different characteristics of the service group to carry out hospice care intervention focus,practice,and its difficulties and coping strategies.From the perspective of social ecology theory,this paper analyzes community hospitals and communities,which are two major systems,to further deepen the hospice care services for social work professionals in different aspects,and explore the development path for C institution in Shanghai to carry out community hospice care.The study found that,first of all,community hospice care services should take community hospitals as the carrier to carry out hospice care services for the dying,meet the physiological and psychological and spiritual needs of the dying,and let the dying say goodbye in peace.Second,the development of community-oriented life education,which is an important extension of hospice care services.Focus on life and death education,promote people to establish a scientific view of life and death.In addition,the development of community hospice care is constrained by the underdevelopment of professional teams,inadequate hospice service skills,and the death anxiety of service providers themselves.In view of these constraints,we should actively promote the establishment of a multi-party assistance platform of "hospital-community-family-social workers",and carry out training and education for hospice care-related service providers to improve their service level and alleviate their death anxiety.Hospice care is the product of social civilization and progress,and has become a social demand.Giving play to the role of social work,exploring the establishment of hospice care service system based on professional hospice care service and life education can help promote the development of hospice care.
