Research On The Correlation Between Rural Economic Development And Regional Crime In Gansu Province

In the process of China's modernization,to ensure the rapid development of rural economy is one of the most basic tasks related to the overall development of China's economy.However,with the rapid development of rural economy,due to the dislocation of material and spiritual development in a certain period of time,all kinds of social disharmony will emerge as the times require.Among them,the emergence of various criminal phenomena is a problem that must be highly concerned.At present,the crime rate of our country has been in a stable rising state.The increase of crime rate will not only affect the sustainable development of rural economy,but also affect the stability of the whole society,and then have a negative impact on the whole economic development.At present,the agriculture of Gansu Province is in an important stage of modernization.At the same time,the problem of regional crime has increasingly become the main factor that puzzles the development of rural economy.Therefore,the study of the internal relationship between the development of rural economy and regional crime in Gansu Province is not only of great practical significance to solve the problem of rural crime in Gansu Province,but also of certain reference significance to similar provinces and regions in the country.Based on the collection and induction of criminal cases in recent years in rural areas of Gansu Province,combined with extensive access to relevant research literature at home and abroad,this paper focuses on the economic growth rate,the income gap between rural and urban areas,the rural unemployment rate,the education situation of rural residents and the Urbanization rate of rural areas,and the rural crime rate and types The relationship between them is studied.The research shows that among the five economic indicators,economic growth rate,rural unemployment rate,rural residents' education level and rural urbanization rate have significant correlation with the regional crime rate of Gansu Province,while the income gap between rural and urban areas has no significant relationship with the regional crime rate of Gansu Province.Based on the analysis of the causes of this situation,this paper puts forward some concrete suggestions to reduce the rural crime rate in Gansu Province,such as optimizing the rural economic structure,narrowing the urban-rural income gap,increasing the rural employment rate,developing rural education,strengthening the publicity of the rule of law,standardizing themanagement of economic behaviors,and intensifying the crackdown on rural criminal activities.
