How Does Local Economic Development And Government Transparency Affect Public Service Satisfaction?

With the goal of "building a service-oriented government with people's satisfaction",the significance of improving public service supply and improving public service satisfaction has been further demonstrated.As a key measure to measure the effective supply of public services,public service satisfaction is affected by many factors.First of all,local economic development provides material basis for public services.Secondly,under the background of the new era,the public values represented by the transparency of the government are gradually concerned However,in China's current social and economic environment,the impact of local economic development on public service satisfaction is still a controversial issue,and the role of government transparency in this issue needs to be further discovered.Therefore,it is of great significance to clarify the internal relationship among local economic development,government transparency and public service satisfactionConsidering that citizens' behavior will be affected by their own characteristics,and also by their environment.The empirical research of this paper is based on a national public service satisfaction survey.On the basis of literature research,this paper combines the subjective and objective data of county-level administrative regions to build a mixed effect model,which is supported by the intermediary effect model and the tendency value matching model.The results show that:(1)There is a significant positive correlation between the per capita GDP which reflects the local economic development,transparency satisfaction degree of the government and the public service satisfaction.At the same time,as the variables at the county level,they can explain the difference of public service satisfaction.(2)There is no significant correlation between the per capita fiscal expenditure reflecting the local economic development and the public service satisfaction.(3)The development of local economy influences the satisfaction of public service through the transparency of the government.The causal relationship among the three is established,and partial mediating effect is significantTherefore,in order to effectively improve the satisfaction of public services and build a service-oriented government,the government should first focus on economic construction and provide basic guarantee for the effective supply of public services.At the same time,we should pay attention to improving the efficiency,so that the government input can be transformed into citizen satisfaction to the greatest extent.Secondly,the grass-roots government still needs to further improve transparency,strengthen the timeliness,accuracy and standardization of government information disclosure,and meet the expectations of citizens.Finally,we should realize that economic development is not only the material basis,but also has a richer connotation.Economic development can realize citizens' right to know through improving the transparency of the government,so as to further improve satisfaction.
