A Study On The Construction Of Early Warning Indicators For Military Psychological Crisis

In recent years,the vicious incidents caused by the psychological crisis of the military,especially suicide,have shown a high incidence and multiple occurrences.The Chairman of the Military Commission also gave special instructions on suicide issues.The Central Military Commission held a special symposium to conduct research and deployment.The General Office of the Central Military Commission issued a special notice stating that the mental illness of officers and soldiers is an important factor in inducing suicide.It has become a prominent problem affecting the security and stability of the troops.It is necessary to pay attention to the psychological problems of officers and men.To implement the instructions of the head of the Central Military Commission,we should strengthen the theoretical exploration of psychological crisis early warning in accordance with the needs of military education management,and sort out and construct warning indicators for military psychological crisis with practical experience.It is of great significance to curb the emergence of the military psychological crisis from the source,to boost the military's popularity,to maintain the image of the military,and to maintain and enhance the combat effectiveness of the military.Early warning of psychological crisis refers to the effective intervention of identifying relevant indicators after the occurrence of psychological crisis signs to the time before the crisis occurs,to minimize the harm caused by the crisis.The psychological crisis early warning indicator is the basis for constructing the psychological crisis early warning system,and is a qualitative or quantitative indicator for evaluating the psychological crisis.Based on the research on psychological crisis early warning literature,the study analyzes the causes and a manifestation of military psychological crisis based on the diathesis-stress model and modern stress theory,and explores the early warning indicators of military psychological crisis in line with the actual situation of our military.First,use the in-depth interview method to explore the early warning indicators of military psychological crisis.A total of 25 officers and men from a psychiatric hospital in the whole army,a security department of a certain theater,and a cadre at the grassroots level of the information security brigade were selected for semi-structured interviews.Using the rooted theory paradigm to conduct generic analysis and correlation coding of the interview results,three first-level,nine-level second-level and 56 third-level early warning indicators were obtained.Secondly,the questionnaire survey method is used to determine the specific indicators of military personnel's psychological crisis early warning.The contents of 56 indicators were compiled into the "Psychological Crisis Early Warning Index Questionnaire for Military Personnel".A study was conducted on 167 cadres of a training course for psychologists of a military medical university and a training course for political cadres at the grassroots level of a military academy.It was confirmed that the questionnaire had good measurement indicators.These 56 projects can be used as indicators for early warning of psychological crisis at the grassroots level.In order to facilitate the improvement of early warning efficiency of grassroots units,the psychological crisis early warning indicators were further tested for differences.After evaluation by 12 experts,25 key indicators were finally retained.Key indicators of 25 military psychological crisis warnings include poor primary family atmosphere,past traumatic experience,weak psychological endurance,bad personality traits,family changes,frustration in marriage and love,depression,lack of social support,personal growth experience,solitude,pessimism,inferiority,bad interpersonal relationships,unfair management,large contrasts in the military environment,frustrated progress,unsatisfied psychological needs,long-term maladaptation after enlistment,sleep disorders,physical illness,irritability,anxiety,fear,behavioral abnormalities,disorders,financial crisis.Finally,starting from the warning indicators of military psychological crisis,we will discuss the suggestions for strengthening the early warning work of military personnel's psychological crisis.Combining the early warning indicators,we will take several important points headed by recruits,and think about how the military can carry out good psychological crisis warning work.
