Uzbekistan And China's Bilateral Relations Research

Regarding Sino-Uzbekistan relations,most of the existing Chinese literature focuses on the description of economic and security cooperation,and lacks an analysis of Uzbekistan's foreign policy orientation for the deep research motives of Sino-Uzbekistan relations.This paper examines Uzbekistan's foreign policy positioning "defensive self-reliance" and its diplomatic practice,the development and status quo of Sino-Uzbekistan relations,and believes that the "defensive self-reliance" policy has affected China-Uzbekistan relations.China's foreign policy and "defensive self-reliance" have many common positions,which has led to the rapid development of cooperation between China and Uzbekistan in the fields of security,economy,transportation,anti-terrorism and energy.However,it should also be recognized that,based on the maintenance of an independent diplomatic tradition,Uzbekistan has also been trying to present the power of Russia and the United States to balance China's influence and prevent possible dependence on China.
